"The hotel was wonderful, clean, and comfortable. One problem is that I stayed for two days, and during that time, they did not accept cash at any of the restaurants. I also wanted to give some cash tips to the help, who were wonderful at cleaning and very helpful. No electronic tip option for them."

"The suite was nicely updated, clean, and comfortable, although a bit on the small side—which is expected in New York City. Unfortunately, the hotel lacked many of the amenities we look for when staying in New York. There was no real lobby or reception area to relax in, no bar, and no inviting common spaces. "The bed was comfy and clean, the air conditioning worked well, if a little noisy. The hotel was situated well with good access. The hotel is very 'tired' and all the furnishings reflect this. No fridge in the hotel room. Just a warning the bathroom although clean, was marble throughout with very sharp corners, on slip and you're in trouble. The staff were friendly. Also, food wasn't offered leaving a trek to find something decent for breakfast. I suppose you get what you pay for."

"An understated luxury in the heart of midtown Manhattan. Great location with easy access to shopping, restaurants and public transportation. I live the high ceilings and spacious well insulated rooms, not to mention the open and modern shower space. I was pleasantly surprised by the email from the manager of the house cleaning, a sign of its commitment to customer satisfaction."
