"this is not your average place to stay. Off the beaten track at the top of a very old village. Once booked in time to take a deep breath and enjoy the scenery and the house dog and cat. This is a rustic house so don't expect perfection and enjoy the experience. The host cooked a delicious 3 course dinner for us with wine costing 20 euros each and there was a fully stocked bar charged at very reasonable rates. "Lovely hotel right in the centre of Toulouse. Large rooms and good breakfast. Le Bouillon Capitol restaurant at the entrance to the hotel is amazing and very cheap with long queues so get there early. Train station is 15 minutes walk and the train to Carcassonne leaves every 30 minutes and takes 45 minutes. The Space museum is 45 minutes on the L8 bus which is 25 minutes walk from the hotel. The Airoscopia Airbus museum is 1 hour on the tram which is a 20 minute walk. Then gardens are worth visiting and Harry's walking tour of Toulouse is well worth booking on free tours. Toulouse felt safe and welcoming. "
