"Great, clean and convenient location."

"We reserved a "deluxe double suite" for $77 and we were very nervous about the hotel at that price point. We wanted a hotel in a safe, convenient area with a clean room and decent beds, and this place did not disappoint. Cons: The hall entry carpets were dirty, the exterior door had a sign announcing it was "under repair, please pull hard and be sure it closes," and the shower curtains are too narrow to prevent water from ending up on the floor from both sides, Pros: Plenty of parking near the rooms, the hotel was quiet midweek, they let us check in 30 minutes early, and the outdoor pool and fire pit areas were very nice (we were there for the amusement park, so we didn't use them, but other families did). We were not expecting much (just a convenient location with restaurants and stores nearby and a quick 15 minutes to the park and a place to shower and sleep) and were pleasantly surprised. We would stay there again if we went back to Cedar Point, for sure."

"I didn't realize how much I needed a boutique resort getaway until I stayed here. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt personal. You can check in seamlessly without waiting in line or stopping at the front desk, or you can choose to chat with the friendly staff and socialize with other guests. The service was warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive throughout our stay. The property itself is thoughtfully designed, making excellent use of every inch of its waterfront location. Despite its intimate size, it offers everything you need: a pool, fitness center, restaurant, fire pits, pickleball court, lake-view observation deck, and rental bicycles with 24-hour access to everything except the bicycles. The location is another huge advantage. It's just minutes from an island with hiking and kayaking, a local winery, charming restaurants and bars, and a picturesque lighthouse. Best of all, it's only about 30 minutes from Cedar Point and everything Sandusky has to offer, while being far enough away to escape the crowds and enjoy a peaceful retreat. If you're looking for a relaxing, well-designed property with exceptional service and a true boutique resort atmosphere, this place is absolutely worth the visit."

Cedar Point's Lighthouse Point

"The parking for the deluxe cabins at Lighthouse Point should have a sign stating it’s for “resort parking only”. People coming to the water park were using those spaces to park for the day. We had to circle several times to find a parking spot which wasn’t close to our cabin to unload our car! Cabin could have been better cleaned. There was cereal, Fruity Pebbles, found on a futon, long hairs in a bathtub, and a loud rattling portable air conditioner unit in the loft. This was our first time renting a cabin as we owned a travel trailer for many years and stayed in the camping area."
