"We travelled as a family of 4 adults and were given 2 queen size mattress. It was adequate for us and comfy. Only gripe I had with the bed was that the bed frame was atop a metal base with sharp edges at the base plus the frame was held together by clasps which jutted out! I had the unfortunate incident of grazing against it twice wand caused a cut both times. I’ve mentioned to the front desk and the lady apologised and said she will notify the management about it. "I want to warn future guests that this place, advertised as Chelsea rooms, is not a hotel. It is a small building, located next door to a 7-Eleven, in an unsafe area with many drug users on the sidewalk right in front of their allways locked sidewalk door, specialy early morning and after 6 pm. The deluxe room they advertise was tiny (around 8 square meters), not luxury, and the bathroom (one square meter) and separate shower (another small 2 sm room) were both shared, which was never disclosed...

"Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit, Zimmer sind schön sauber und überall duftet es sehr gut. Die Lage ist ideal und perfekt. Jedoch sind die Zimmer schon sehr klein - zu zweit ist es ziemlich eng - und extrem hellhörig. Leider ist zwischen Bad und Zimmer auch nur eine Schiebetür die nicht vollständig schliesst. Zum Frühstück gibt es Kaffee, Tee, Wasser und süsse Teilchen. Es sind auch mehrere sehr gute Cafes in der Umgebung mit tollen Frühstücksangeboten."

"Our room was certainly a room, but not much beyond that. Shower and was falling apart, WiFi was terrible, and no full sized mirror, but besides that it worked for what it needed to do. Staff was super friendly and helpful!"

"Room was extremely small , some areas of the bed side cover showed some wear. Mattress was extremely soft, pillows bulky ,had a hard time sleeping. Complained to the front desk manager about the mattress and pillows, no other options were available."

This whole listing is a SCAM, do not book. It's unbelievable that Hotel.com would allow a SCAM listing. The AI age for you. Given I paid for this booking up front, nearly $1k, I expect a prompt refund or I will share this with trippedup@nytimes.com and other social media sites. Shame on Hotels.com !"

"Wanted to love it. The price was incredibly high with very little to reflect the room rate. Rooms were spacious modern and clean, great views to the Empire State Building. Beds very comfy. Amenities minimal in room. The area has great restaurants/coffee shops. Staff are welcoming, polite and professional. For the price you’d expect glassware, robe, slippers, good quality towels. I would stay again if was more reasonably priced. Did not try the onsite bar or restaurant."
