"Amazing hosts and a wonderful stay. Breakfast delivered to the room was more than enough with fresh cheeses, meats and pastries. Anything we needed was accomodated and communication was excellent throughout even before we arrived as this was for our parents 40th anniversary. Stunning location and accommodation. "This was my second time to stay at this hotel. The location is great - it’s a few minutes walk from the arena. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is of good quality with lots of choices. However, the small single room I had on this visit was extremely expensive. While I understand that prices increase when the opera is on - €315.00 (inclusive of taxes and city taxes) is very high for such a tiny room. I didn’t even get a complementary bottle of water even though the weather was extremely hot. There was also a small issue as the soap dispenser in my room was broken - it was lying in the sink. It took two visits to the room to repair this while I waited in reception. I did appreciate being given a coffee while I waited. I will certainly look at other hotels on my next visit to Verona if the hotel is this expensive. I do plan to visit again as I thoroughly enjoyed the opera at such a historic venue."
