WE LOVED the hot pool, SOOO relaxing ! And the Motel was easy walking to town, and Restaurants.!!The Staff were welcoming , and a Continental Breakfast a bonus!!Thank you!!

Lovely spa and sauna very hot. Close to town for food. Friendly staff. Clean rooms with plenty of room.

Very lovely and helpful staff. Christine provided us some valuable information when we were in trouble during the trip. Very good experience during our stay. Will definitely stay with them again.

Person who checked me in was rude. Told me off about my friends who had stayed the night before being late for breakfast . Told me if he was there they would have got nothing. Warned me not to be late. Felt told off even though it was nothing to do with me. Never spoke to anyone at breakfast. Obviously doesnt like his job . Room was incredibly hot

This would be an awesome property to stay at if it was up and running properly. Manager seemed annoyed we were even staying there. Only one other room rented and we got told to be quiet. Gardens and external areas need alot of work. Rooms clean but dated. Breakfast, lounge and Bar area not available. Very disappointed. Hoping they improve things for next time.

Misrepresented online, pictures of rooms were misleading. The place is tired, breakfast is awful, cheap bread, plastic butter, stale cereal.

Booked an overnight stay to go skiing at Mt Hutt the following day. Abisko fitted our needs perfectly - warm room with ensuite, comfortable bed.

Great lounge and bar area to relax, beautifully decorated and homely. Staff very accomodating and made you feel at home. This was the reason we were there, for rest and relaxation

Spacious and comfortable, clean
Good location, clean comfortable and well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds, good parking Spacious room, staff service and room cleaning excellent over our two night stay. Great value I would struggle to find a negative thing to say, perhaps the decor is a little bit dated and the spa was a little old but really, if these things matter then you probably aren’t happy anywhere.

Nice quiet motel in quiet town
I enjoy the small town of Methven and always stay at this motel. It is clean and quiet. The rooms range from small to larger, but are always clean.

In the middle of town, nice and very comfort hotel with a guest kitchen and dinnering area. Very quite town in off-season for skiing, but still worth a visit

We were surprised that we had to pay for the use of the spa ($30/h) - but it did mean that we had the spa to ourselves. The lounge area was lovely, with an open fire. However, we were asked to leave the lounge at 10pm and it was not open again until the next evening. We were unable to buy any drinks / coffee from the bar.

We received a warm welcome from the female proprietor. The lodge is spacious, comfortable and clean (except for the windows). The lighting, except in the bathroom, is abysmal. There needs to be a small electric heater available for use in the sitting room on a cool summer's evening. We did not want nor need the heat of the log-burner for an hour of television watching.

The Aprtment was in great condition, Fireplace already lit. Staff were very helpful, very well mannared. i will look forward to staying here again :)

Good value for the slopes
Good stay in a very simple room with basic amenities. Shared lounge has a nice fireplace and morning breakfast is very limited and not included - we found that out on checkout when charged extra per brekkie per person.
