"This is my second stay at The MyPlace Hotel in Council Bluffs. The first was while visiting the Henry Doorly Zoo, and this instance was while traveling through to Kansas City. Both stays have been exceptional. First, the price is very reasonable. Secondly, it is very accessible off I29. The check-in has been very efficient and the staff are friendly and attentive. We are typically traveling with 3 kids and we’ve found the space of the room to be great for our family and the ability to have connecting rooms is a huge benefit. The small kitchenette is a nice option for keeping refreshments or cooking light dinners. If cooking isn’t your vibe, there is a Casey’s down the road which allows for a quick, family friendly pizza party or a nearby movie theater and other establishments. The rooms are clean and beds are reasonably comfortable. To be clear: this is not a high-end brand with lavish amenities, but we have been very comfortable and much prefer investing in activities & experiences vs. lodging. Parking is free and ample. "
