"We pulled in with a trailer and a boat. This is not outlandish as you are with in 1 1/2 hours of the largest body of water in the United States. Never before in my 54 years have turned away for parking. Apparently security is on the ball because we didn't even make it from our truck to the check desk before people were having a fit about us parking In the back by the semi trailers where there used to be parking for people with jeeps, trailers, boats and such things that are used heavily in this area.
We tried to be reasonable explained. We were coming from a big festival at Lake Havasu and we were exhausted and hungry.
We chose the Virgin river instead of staying at the Casablanca camp ground as we didn't want to unhook, we just needed a place to eat and lay our head to roll early in the morning.
We were told that we could not be longer than 40 feet. Most trailers are longer than 40 ft. Coach motor homes are far longer than 40. In addition most boats that we were at the festival with are also around 45 feet. They accommodated us parking clear in the back.
On our way out, we passed a young couple heading to check in who came out very upset because they were also told they couldn't park. They were hotshot drivers pulling a 45 foot trailer. They were told to unhook. Unhooking would be against the policy of their company.
I guess we will take our business to the Eureka with free parking and find a new trailer park as well rather than using Casablanca your sister spot."
"Better, recently refurbished! Wow! We always stay here for convenience and we're surprised to see new carpet, decor and upgraded bathroom. Easy access to Walmart and convenient breakfast. We were given late check out since we arrived at 2a.m. Thank you for being consistent for our family vacations!"
"This very pleasant and attractive hotel is located conveniently off I-15. It's near to some good eateries and has a reasonably priced fuel station right across the street.
Check in was quick and friendly. The room was comfortable. The bath and sink were stocked with liquid soap dispensers rather than the silly little bars of soap. A Big plus. Plenty of towels. Climate control was by thermostat rather than buttons on the wall A/C unit. In all, it was a decent hotel, especially given the price.
The downsides: 1. Despite a double blackout shade, the room was far from dark at night. That appears to be caused by some sort of light shining on the window from outside. 2. The toilet paper was thin and hard. The kind one finds in convenience store toilets Not what one should expect from an otherwise classy hotel. 3. They touted their breakfast at $12.95. I figured it should be pretty good and a reasonable price. Not the case. It was exactly the same breakfast offerings to be found without additional cost in any mid-level hotel. So, hardly a bargain."
"The accommodations were fantastic! The staff were fine. The short to the casino location was great! Free coffee in the morning in the lobby was great as well. The only issue I had was the hotel walls are thin (only if you have loud people next to you). If you’re near a loud room you need to move. 👍"
