Top Mesopotamos Hotel Reviews
Elite City Resort
8/10 Good
"The staff especially the housekeeping, waiters excellent! Breakfast is great although when we come to Greece we want nectarines, peaches, apricots like all the other resorts have, we don't want apples we get those in Canada and USA, very happy with the parking."
Karalis City Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We found the hotel to be clean and professional and well maintained. We would be delighted to commend the hotel to family and friends."
Grand Hotel Kalamata
10/10 Excellent
"Great location."
Zoe Seaside Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing Zoe at Gialova. Second family visit 10/10 Location. Next to the restaurants and shops. Central to Pylos and Romanos area. Executive suites can be noisy next to the main road, especially as the Pylos - Kalamata road is under construction. 1 Minute walk to Martins which has everything you need food/drink/beach wise. Fantastic restaurant, beach area and service. Pool is huge, and never too busy. Beautiful garden/farm surroundings. Cleaning staff are excellent and lovely people. ."
IRA-HPA Hotel
8/10 Good
"I stayed at the IRAHPA Hotel in central Kalamata and found it a comfortable, straightforward place to stay. The location is excellent, the hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room is simple but functional and suited for one or two people. The bed was comfortable, there was space for my things, and it stayed quiet. My view was mostly the wall of another building. Breakfast was nice, with some Greek options and a pleasant seating area by the windows. The breakfast hostess, a delightful lady from Montreal, was warm and gracious. A couple of quirks: as is typical in this part of Greece, toilet paper and sanitary items cannot go in the toiletโthey go in a small bin nearby. Some design choices felt awkward, such as the hairdryer plugged into an outlet right above the hand-soap dispenser, making the soap hard to use. The hotel provided complementary water plus a welcome gift of wine and local snacks. At checkout they kindly stored my bag for several hours while I explored the city.Overall, IRAHPA isnโt flashy or especially impressive, but itโs clean, comfortable, well-located, and the staff are genuinely helpful. A reliable, simple base with a good breakfast."
Messinian Icon
10/10 Excellent
"My stay at this impressive luxury hotel was truly exceptional. The room was beautifully appointed, and the luxurious mattress made for the best, most restorative sleep. Stepping out onto the terrace balcony was a daily joy โ it overlooked the sparkling pools and, further out, the line of gleaming yachts resting in Kalamata Bay. It felt like a private postcard view. The bathroom was stocked with highโquality toiletries, a small detail that added to the overall sense of comfort and care. On days when the heat made outdoor exercise impossible, the hotelโs wellโequipped gym was perfect. Afterwards, I indulged in some pampering at the spa, which was the ideal way to unwind. Every part of my stay felt thoughtful, relaxing, and wonderfully refined. A truly memorable experience."
Akti Taygetos Conference Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely pool and beach complex over the road from the car park, water so clear to snorkel in. There were facilities pool side to change if going to airport, but no extractor fans in any of the bathrooms which would be my only moan, they got very hot! There's no gym yet, but it could be a nice addition and hotel is away from the busyness of Kalamata. Just a shame that the airport is so old and dilapidated, it puts you off returning to the area, as it's grotty and the lack of facilities are really poor in 2026 from no cafes, to running water and soap in the ladies toilets. Maybe the hotel can raise this with the authorities as I wouldn't return based on the delays and service."
Panellinion Luxury Rooms
8/10 Good
"The hotel room had a nice view and was great for a weekend. The room was a bit small for 2 people. Also, there was parking, but it could be used by others for the adjacent playground, so parking was tough during the later hours. Overall, great place by the sea in the areas near shopping and restaurants."
Rex Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This historic, one and a quarter century old, renovated hotel is in the heart of downtown Kalamata โ close to everything. It is reasonably priced and included a superb buffet breakfast."
