Hotel Splendid

"Location is ideal, only 10 min walk to train station and bit less to lake. All staff were great. It is a Viking tour hotel so you do get a lot of people staying but the hotel facilities can handle it. Breakfast was a wide range the only criticism is that the hot food isnβt hot. Cold scrambled eggs, bacon. The room we had Mountain View was big enough for a week no issues. Lake maggorie is vast and traveling everywhere on the ferry can get expensive. Worth the money is the Maggiore express on the weekends that take you to Locarno in Switzerland and scenic train back. All in all a lovely 7 days."

"We had an amazing stay at Hotel La Palma in Stresa! The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect, and our entire experience was wonderful. A very special thank you to our housekeeper, Juliana, who truly made our stay even better. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and took such wonderful care of our room throughout our stay. Everything was always immaculate, and her warmth and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We absolutely loved her! We had such a lovely time at La Palma and would happily return. Highly recommend!"
