"Lovely old building, full of character. Very convenient for Glasgow Queen Street railway station (next door). Welcoming staff. Wide selection at breakfast although you have to pay for it. Relaxing glassed-in area overlooking the square where you can have a drink or wait for a train. Bed and bedding extremely comfortable. Warm towel rail in bathroom and heating in room adjustable."

"Very affordable and central. 10 mins walk from Glasgow Central Station. The single rooms consist of a dorm with holes in the wall with a mattress and a retractable screen. Temperature was very high probably had the worst night sleep of my life but for the price I can't complain. My bed hole was up a 6ft ladder so if you have issues climbing request a low bed."

"We had a lovely stay at Golden Jubilee Hotel. The was a problem with the reservation so checking in and out was a bit of a hassle as I got worried about my booking. The only issue we had was that our room was connected to another room with a door, and we could hear other people from next door. The lady was very loud early in the morning so we couldn’t sleep properly. Also the phone wasn’t working. Overall, had a nice stay. It’s a lovely hotel and newly renovated. "
