Best thing about this hotel is the attached restaurant/bar. Very goods drinks and food at a responsible price. Wish the hotel had a better breakfast. You could tell the bagels and english muffins were sitting out a few days as they were rock hard. Hot fresh coffee by 4:30am every day was much appreciated. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were super clean but could use a little cosmetic work.

I stayed in the suite and it was amazing. The bar n grill food was excellent and really affordable. My room was incredible and having the lake with a beach right there. I could have stayed much longer and will absolutely come back.

Windows and screens were broken, shower leaked and everything is very outdated. The beds were rock hard, pillows were flat and the towels were tiny. They didn’t have housekeeping so if you needed anything you had to ask the front desk. Definitely overpriced for what you get

The room was a suite it had two rooms and only one of the rooms had and air conditioner. Abe it was on the second floor. There was no way the air was going to get to the bedroom. It was 90 plus degrees outside that day. We had to sleep on the couch and recliner. They need to add a unit to the bedroom.

Very nice stay for the hotel portion.

This was our 4th or 5th stay at this property. Room was clean and comfortable (as usual). Generally love staying at this property. Continental breakfast was basic fare as most hotels. Downside of our stay was the service at the attached bar/restaurant. Were told to grab any open (there were a few, but none of them cleaned off).. after standing and waiting for about 10 minutes for someone to come and clean the table, we finally grabbed a bar rag off the bar and cleaned our own table, and grabbed our own menues. Still no service. Finally went to the bar and asked for 2 waters and a server. Eventually got to eat. If there were other options nearby after a long day on the motorcycle we would have done so. Hopefully this was an abberation and not the norm, as not what we have experienced here in the past.

Disappointed

Sink didn’t drain, curtains coming off the hooks, no elevator for second floor, no clock, asked front desk to call us in the morning. They called us too late. Beds shook when dryer is running. Place needs a lot of work.

Housekeeping and maintenace

Only complaint, we had a non smoking room and when you walked in it smelled like an ashtray with cigerattes . Once we ran ac and fan it subsided. We could not open windows becsuse gaps in screen frame would have let insects in.

TV had 9 channels. Room was dim. Poor lighting. Room fan had no light attached to it. No refreshment machine available on 2nd floor. No ice maker either.

You don't get a five star hotel for 3 star pricing

For the price, a decent experience. However, no maid service for multiple day stays. Pillows are about 2" thick. But the view of the lake is lovely. You don't get a five star hotel for 3 star pricing

Alright, but not handicapped-friendly

The place was okay, and the staff was not unfriendly, but there were a few shortcomings: (1) No elevator. (2) The main door into the lobby was not auto-opening, so pushing a baggage cart through the door opening was a two-person job: one to push the cart and another to hold the door open. (3) Our handicapped room (#120) had the smallest sink countertop I’ve ever seen in my life. There was barely enough room for a toothbrush and toothpaste tube.

Walked into the lobby to check in and it absolutely reeked of cigarettes. Room was large and clean, but the whole thing shook….not even joking. My only guess would be the laundry room two doors down. Went to eat at the connected restaurant. Wow what a terrible experience that was. The place was busy and obviously understaffed, so I totally get having to wait and we put our patient pants on and waited. And waited. And waited. Over an hour and a half later 3 of the four other people in our group finally got their food. I asked where our order was since we ordered 10-15 minutes before our friends and we met with confused looks. They never put our order in the computer along with my friends appetizer order. We walked out. I won’t ever be going back.

Beds are terrible, room was not clean. There were tics in the room on the carpet. Bed linens are old and threadbare. Bed was hard! Door locks are not secure.

Visiting our new property!

We recently purchase land in the area and needed a place to stay for a few days. Our stay was nice. The room was very large and on the lake side of the building. Loved that the windows opened so we could listen to the birds and Loons. Had a burger in the bar that was delicious. We would stay again.

Love that it was right on the trail. As I have read, carpets could use a good cleaning or replaced, and that is very true. I understand they get people for ATV/snowmobile trails, but it still needs to be worth $170 a night stay. Drain in the sink wouldn't even keep up with the water, toilet plugged up, we didn't take a shower there due to then fact we were sure we would be up to our ankles in water. Good thing we were there just for one night. Bar area was nice and food and prices were good as well.

We are very sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. If you would have noticed the front desk they could have sent maintenance to your room to fix any issues. The price you paid is not the same as the hotel charges you did go through a 3 party website which charged you more.

The beds suck badly need updated The refrigerator you could not adjust the temperature it froze everything and leaked on the floor The shower head was Terrible I had a clean my room tag on my door handle for 3 days No one came to even change out the towels

Also at the front desk where you check in is a sign stating due to staffing shortages we can not service rooms and to go to the front desk to get fresh towels and linens.

We stayed in the suite which was like our own little apt. Very clean, well decorated, cozy! Nice contintal breakfast in spacious dining / lounge area overlooking the lake. Wonderfull grille attached to the hotel where we had dinner. Great place to stay!

Large, quiet and comfortable

Stellar room! Wish we could have stayed longer. The fish fry was excellent. The hotel is located walking distance from everything. The room was huge, which was great for our pups. We were concerned about being so close to the restaurant on a Friday night but didn't hear any outside noise, in fact the room was silent in the middle of the night. The property is dated and rhe breakfast was lacking (cream cheese available but no breads?) But would absolutely book here again if we were in the area.

I'm sorry you didn't see the sign at the front desk when you check in about housekeeping. Also available at the front desk we have a stand with information about the area along with area maps and on the wall we have a number of flyers with the area events.

Not worth the money

There is a good reason why this place shows an aerial view. It needs updating. Everywhere. From parking lot to interiors. The mattress in room has to be 40 years old. Pillows are cheap and rock hard. Bedding is scary. Shower has great water pressure but shower head is set at @ 5' so if you are tall you will be squatting to rinse your hair. Our room had a gap between tub and floor with 2" of old grout missing in sections. We asked if we could get our money back and go somewhere else but there were no other rooms available in the area. I guess they count on this because they sure do NOT take pride in their property.
