"We have been coming to cedar lodge and we still like staying here. I like the convenience of having a restaurant, a pool, jacuzzi and a river to stroll which is just across the hotel. The place is surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains . It is a hot in the outskirts of Yosemite Valley Floor. But not bad."

"The hotel is nice and very unique. I booked a family cabin which has one queen bed and one double sofa bed. The description said the room can fit and sleep four people. I have two kids , 7 and 14. The double sofa bed is too small to fit the kids. And uncomfortable to sleep the whole night. They should give more details about it. So I would have an idea to book a bigger room."

"Nice place to stay that is pretty close (8 miles) to Yosemite. The rooms are all on the second floor up an outside steep staircase if that is difficult for you. They have no front desk there so you have to check in at the Cedar Lodge down the street but that was no big deal. The room had a kitchenette of sorts with a hot plate, dishes etc but we didn’t realize that so didn’t take advantage of it. Friendly staff. Clean room. "
