We wanted something right downtown and pet friendly and in a decent part of town and this place checked all our boxes. Bed was soft and couch was big enough for 2 kids. Apt was spacious and the walk in shower was a great hit.

When you first arrive at The Rambler you are not quite sure what to expect. The unit was spacious, nice, and was very well designed. We loved staying here and it had all the accommodations that we needed. We felt safe and secure there too. It was very convenient to The Lorraine Hotel and the National Civil Rights Museum.

Passcode entry was tricky. They never told me to push star button after entering code. couldn't get a hold of anyone on phone as it was midnight. My brother finally figured it out after 10 minutes. Worried we were sleeping in the car. Other then that no issues at all.

A Great space right on S. Main almost directly across from the National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel where the Reverend King lost his life. Short walk to Beale street, the River front, Museums and more. Amazing space, I could live there happily!

Check in process was a nightmare. Had to call multiple times re: door code room number. Very frustrating. Place was nice but walls are oaper thin and the people next to is were extremely loud. Good location

The outside looks like a rundown storefront. The parking is on the side streets. But the rooms are cute boutique apartment rooms. Very cute. Very comfy. Full kitchens with everything you need. The customer service was fantastic. Would definitely come back.

This is great property and we highly recommend. Clean, modern rooms, superior lication, great customer service. Having a pool/hot tub was a bonus. Would definitely stay again on our next trip to Memphis. Our only minor issues was the locked windows and relatively early check-out (10 am).

The web page app they used for all communication and checking in and out works exceptionally poorly. It is slow and clunky and is completely unintuitive. In addition to this the company was completely unhelpful when I asked separately for early check in and check out they said they could not help. That's fine it is inconvenient, but I understand. What I cannot understand is that somehow the people staying the day after me requested an early check-in and were told they could go ahead to my room before my checkout time had even arrived. They are completely random in who they decide to accommodate and are utterly incompetent. I would not recommend using this place to stay, not because it's not a nice location but because the people who run it are completely useless. As for the surrounding area it is very nice, Memphis is a lovely city with lovely people.

There was a problem with the access code to the property. The code that I was provided via email was incorrect, therefore I had to call your customer service to get the correct code to gain access. Additionally, the secure parking was not available for the entire duration of my stay.

Our first night we had difficulty entering the building spending about 15 minutes with an operator trying about five different door codes. Frustrating to say the least. We then had anxiety coming and going from the building thinking that codes would not work properly. The second night we returned home at 11:30 PM from an evening out on the town. We returned to smoke detectors blaring, and other residents telling us the smoke detector had been going off for two hours. It was a very loud alarm. The residents next to us were throwing a big wild party. We asked for assistance for an hour through the operator system. They said they would send maintenance to turn off the smoke detector. By an hour no maintenance had come to assist. It was now 12:30 PM. There was no chance of sleep. The entire building was filled with smoke from the party of at least 20 people next-door who were spilling out into the hallway. They were very loud, all were smoking. It was such a horrible, traumatizing and frustrating experience. We ended up leaving the hotel at 12:30 at night to get alternative accommodations. Secretaries answered our texts and phone calls but they were offsite and there was not much they could do. After time had gone on without obvious remedies, we lost faith in the system. They did refund our night that we had to leave, but it was not enough to compensate for the horrific experience.

It was a beautiful suite with everything you needed for an easy stay. The unit included coffee and a teapot and the pods and teabags to go with! The pool and hot tub was enjoyable and the thoughtfulness of including beach towels made even better. The bed was very comfortable and the unit clean and easy to enter and leave from. We were able to walk to all the restaurants and sites we wanted to see. There is also a sound machine which was used one of our nights, as kids were above us. : ) The only draw back, and it was a little one, the street light shines into the window at night and blinks. Our time spent in Memphis was the best and The Rambler helped it to be that!

We were stood outside for 20 minutes trying to get in. None of the codes worked. Tech support was bad. She couldn't help. Luckily a employee happened to be staying there so let us in as he left. Not the best experience. The room and facilities were great, but communication and technical need to work

Pros: Pretty much everything. Its a completely renovated property. It's a short walk to Beale, the trolly, plenty of dining options. The curb appeal of the property doesn't give away the fact that the inside is amazing, or the fact that instead of a "room" you're getting an apartment for your stay. Its a beautifully maintained property and the property management company doesnt cheap out, heck even the toilet paper is quality. Check-in is wonderful..as is Check-out...you dont have to deal with anyone. Cons: Not many, but a couple of things that we noticed on our stay. We were on the first floor and someone staying above us obviously had a toddler running around in the morning and we could hear every footstep. Not a huge deal, we are parents too, and we get it. Whatcha gonna do? Lock the kid in a closet? The second thing... and honestly its something that could be fixed. The plumbing of the unit above you is exposed and you can hear every toilet flush. Overwhelmingly it's a great property and a great place to stay. You can spend alot more in the area and have accommodations that are far less quality. We definitely recommend The Rambler and will certainly stay again.

My friends and I loved staying here. It was a 10 minute walk from the main strip on Beale. The building had lots of cool ammenities amenities including laundry in building, a pool, hot tub and bbq's outside. The suite itself had great decor, comfortable furniture and a full kitchen. We easily found parking right outside. We were a little confused when we first got here because there was no main lobby but when we called the number in the confirmation email, they were very responsive and quickly gave us an entry code and all the information we needed. We will absolutely make an effort to stay here again next time we're in Memphis.

Will absolutely stay there again! Within walking distance of everything you’d want to see. A stones throw from Civil Rights museum and so Uber close to Old Dominick distillery. Super easy walk to Beale street and the Ophoreum theater. I was shocked and disappointed to find no wine opener in the studio, but never fear, I bought one and left it in the drawer with the can opener…… paying it forward. :) Lastly, the building has a STRONG perfume aroma. I realize they have some sort of potent air freshener (better than being oblivious), but it really was rather noxious. I’m hyper sensitive to smells, especially inorganic perfumes, etc… Most people might love it.
