"Much improved by Mitsis to previous visit 2 years earlier - upgraded to a Bungalow for 36 euros a night extra and was worth it as much more space a very comfy beds. Standard of food and drink much better than previous, beach bar moved and improved so wasn’t a free for all as previous - new ice cream/crepe station and pasta bar were nice touches. Beach well maintained, as are the pool areas Would be nice if as other chains there was an option of all inclusive plus for branded alcohol/soft drinks to take it up a further notch All in all great break for out of season"

"Despite traffic buzz I slept well in my comfy bed. Reception staff were very helpful. Loved the lifts. Breakfast satsfactory. Location lovely for a lovely part of town. Thankyou"

"Although the building is a little dated, it was well kept and really clean. The receptionist was friendly and helped with information about onward travel. The room was really clean with a newly refurbished bathroom but dated decor in the main room. It had everything we needed! Big comfy bed, mini fridge and plenty of plug sockets. Great value for money. We stayed in a rear room which was over a busy restaurant. If you want an early, quiet night, you may want to request a room at the front of the property."

"Very nice interior and exterior. Great view. Staff excellent. We did not see the beach as it was not open due to weather conditions. The pool was perfect. Only downside: price and portion size for dinner. Quite expensive. Taste wise great."

"This iconic hotel in Capri is the best. A lot of people like the Quisisana but to me there is no comparison. The Punta Tragara is located just a beautiful walk outside of the main plaza so you don’t get the day tripper noise and foot traffic. The staff is thoughtful, courteous, and all speak great English (sadly I don’t speak Italian!) The two swimming pools, photographed by Slim Aarons back in the day, are beautiful. Both restaurants (the Grill by the pool and the Michelin starred Le Monzu) are super. The rooms and amenities are gorgeous and offer several price points that, while expensive, are truly worth it. In a way, the star of the property is the wrap-around view of the Faraglioni rocks and surrounding cliffs. Overall, a great experience."

"We loved the hotel, especially the service — we were very well received and felt truly welcomed throughout our stay. The only small issue was the smell in the room, which felt a bit closed up, possibly a slight musty odor, and a bit strong at first. However, we left the balcony door open and it improved."
