The room was clean, comfortable, and nice. However, the outside looks like a scene from a police movie raid on a motel. The motel sign needs repair and there were no lights on to help find the site. The pool was dirty, and parking was tight. From the outside, it looked seedy, but the interior was great.

We have stayed at here for many years and it is the best ever! ALWAYS clean bedding, floors, bathroom; plenty of towels that are good quality; staff is wonderful to everyone; nice little breakfast (not hot but nice variety) and room is always clean and they never run out of things. Sovana Inn is a GEM!

Owners put bandaids on areas of building...remodel project covered wall outlets...no ice machine...no stationary items...blood stains on window drape and bedspread...ugh... I took a chance thinking to support a local small independent...yet owners/management seemed to have very nice up to date vehicles...yet no evidence the owners are putting any $$ into facility... It is a 1960's built building ..minimal effort to alter the out dated interior...staff...is 1-2 at best for a 45 unit complex. Staff member nice and helpful was the highlight of the stay...

Staff was nice. Rooms are dated but clean. Beds a little to firm for mine and my wife’s backs, liking. Breakfast is ok, no waffle maker, pretty limited. Is close to a lot of restaurants. Shower has good hot water. Plenty of towels.

The exterior looks a bit rough when you pull in, but the place is clean and comfortable. The proprietor is very nice and the hotel is a great deal overall. Very glad we stayed here and will stay again. If you’re on a budget, this is a great deal unlike some of the other places I’ve stayed in the area which are dirty and unsafe. Quite pleased! This is my new favorite motel when I visit family in Medford.

I had a late night check in and Fernando was wonderful. I'm not good at parking so he parked my car for me, carried my bag and walked me to my room and made sure I was safely inside for the night. He is so kind, caring and took great care of me. He will treat every guest like they are his family. Management give Fernando a raise! He is the heart and soul of Sovanna Inn. Also, housekeeping did a excellent job as the room and bathroom were spotless. Nice comfortable bed and though hotel was pretty full it was very quiet. Enjoyed my stay.
