"To Whom It May Concern, I am filing a formal complaint regarding a hygiene issue at Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale. During my stay, I observed multiple insects on the bed. This was also witnessed by a hotel staff member (Brian). The presence of insects in bedding is unacceptable and raises clear sanitation concerns. Based on my review and photos, the insects appear consistent with carpet beetles. I reported the issue immediately and checked out. While the hotel relied on a third-party report stating no bed bugs were found, this does not explain or resolve the presence of insects observed. I have photographic evidence, including identifiable room details and geolocation data, and can provide it upon request. "This property was a huge disappointment and not as described. We were placed in a basement unit despite booking what was advertised as a “premier house.” It’s not suitable for six guests. we were only five and still found it inadequate. Basic essentials were lacking: just two rolls of toilet paper for six days (the host was arguing with us that there was more even though we have picture proof there was two), towels smelled of mildew, and not enough sheets for the beds we requested. Amenities like laundry and ironing were shared with the upstairs unit, which was a disaster. We never got to use the washer / dryer bc it was occupied the entire time during our stay. Noise from upstairs began as early as 7 a.m., and even after asking them to be quieter, it continued. The property feels neglected and is currently for sale, with no urgency to make it comfortable. The host was responsive but often rude. While we were granted a partial refund and allowed to cancel after a few days, the conditions were unlivable for the full week. What’s worse, we raised concerns after reading a negative review written just a week before our stay. The host dismissed it as inaccurate, claiming the guest was upset about a refund. That was false our experience was identical to theirs. The photos do not reflect the actual basement unit. Overall, the stay was misleading, uncomfortable, and not worth the money. We would never stay here again and cannot recommend this property."
