"Check-in was an absolute nightmare! We arrived at 5:00 PM and waited in line for 20 minutes, (there only one person working at the front desk). When we finally got helped, we were told our room wasn’t ready—no estimated time, just “we’ll call you.” It took another hour and 15 minutes before we received that call. We then waited in line again for another 20 minutes to get our keys. Unfortunately, the keys didn’t work for the elevator. A man already inside assumed we didn’t know how to use it and used his key to help us. When we reached our floor, the key still wouldn’t unlock our room. We double-checked the room number—it was correct—so back down to the front desk we went. We were issued a new set of keys, which worked for both the elevator and the room. As we started settling in, one of the teens noticed luggage already inside. We had been given keys to AN OCCUPIED ROOM. Thankfully, no one was in the room at the time, but it was still a serious and concerning mistake. We returned to the front desk for a fourth time before finally receiving a key to an unoccupied room. The entire process took over two hours. I’ve since reached out three times and have been promised a call from the manager, Tawnee. It has now been two days, and I have yet to hear anything. For nearly $300 per night, this experience made it feel like guest care ends once payment is made. There are several very nice hotels in the downtown area—I would strongly recommend avoiding this one."

"Our first impression was not good and we almost didn’t check but it was late. We were very glad that we stayed three nights. The room was small but clean and quiet. We slept real well. The breakfast was a wonderful surprise. We were provided with vouchers for Dennys which a hundred feet away. We would stay with them again when we visit family in the area. "

"There was a FBLA convention somewhere near by, the walls are thin, so all the commotion and chaos happening in other rooms or in the hallways impacted my ability zoom for work. I left one day before scheduled because of this. When I notified the front desk, they responded without care, or help find a solution for me."

"The Centennial is our go to place every time we stay in Spokane. It’s a very nice place with a good location. We have never had any issues staying here."

"Parking was fine and no security concerns. My biggest complaint would be noisy upper level users and the breakfast options or rather lack of. No cereals, not much variety in fruit, (oranges, banannas thats all) and not much variety in anything hot. Only microwave packaged fruit bars or muffins."

"Room was clean. Bed mattress was on an oversized metal frame that was not secured so the mattress slid. No grab bars or shelf in the shower. Shower floor was very slippery."
