"It was an ok property. Check in was smooth, room was clean, but the pool - which is a big deal for my kids, was dirty, and had bugs swimming in it."

"Spark is an easy, no frills place to stay for an overnight stay. Esmee at the front desk was sweet and helpful. The room was clean and fit our needs. My only complaint is "No Elevator". The first floor rooms were full so our only option was the second floor. It was very hot and lugging our cases up wasn't pleasant."

"The rooms were clean and the beds and pillows were comfortably firm. The adjacent restaurant/lounge had delicious pizza and the attached store was quaint."

"This is not a fancy-schmancy hotel but it was perfect for a birder on a budget and had everything I needed at half the price of the place up the street. Well, almost everything - a blow dryer would have made it perfect! The check-in dude was funny and helpful and there's an EV charging station just down the street so I'd definitely stay here again. But think about adding blow dryers. Even birders like to look their best!"

"Great location we were traveling from Arizona to Oregon, it’s right off of the freeway. It’s located within walking distance of a couple restaurants. Rooms were clean and the hotel was quiet, breakfast had many options in the morning. My kids were excited about the indoor swimming pool, but when we went to go in, it was so so cold! We’re typically not wimps, but it was literally like an ice bath"

"Okay so. Staff were kind and friendly so I was conflicted when writing this review. I reserved 2 rooms. 1 was fine but the other smelled like mildew. We kept the bathroom fan running and the window ajar but couldn’t escape the odor. Possible the room was closed up after shampooing carpets, not sure. The bathroom did appear to have mildew along the floor at bathtub. I’m sure they would have given us a new room and in reflection, I’m not sure why I didn’t ask. Prob tired from the trip. "My room was clean, neat, and very not creepy. Tbh I thought I had gotten a reservation for Motel 6 but this place was cool and down to earth. I thought every place had a bad side of town. I thought this was gonna be horrible. Nothing happened. It's Willows California. It has maybe 3000 people in it if that. I met a super cool dude there along with the owners who were super helpful. It's actually a great place to stay on the cheap. All in all 5 stars because of the staff, owners, and renters...

"Front desk staff was very helpful and informative at check-in. Despite being told on the phone they couldn't guarantee a bottom floor room earlier in the week because I had booked through Expedia and not direct, I was pleased to have been accommodated, nonetheless."
