Hotel Royal Luzern

"The front desk staff could not be more delightful. Interacted with ARod on several occasions and he was genuine and totally accommodating to all of our needs. We stayed for three days two nights and the temperature in Lucerne was over 90°. Little stuffy in the room however figure out how to manage the cool nights to make sleeping very comfortable. The hotel does not offer air-conditioning and if that is a must on your list then you may consider other arrangements. ARod and management provided fans to keep air circulating and when the temperature drop down to 67° at night we were able to capture a great deal of comfort and even needed to use blankets at night. The breakfast they offer is more than generous and actually a tremendous perk and great value. We definitely stay at a Hotel Royal Luzerne again now that I understand how to manage the temperature if it is warm outside."

"Great hotel- although please note this hotel does not have air conditioning due to the strict heritage laws, it does hover provide a fan which was more than sufficient. Easy quick check in, friendly staff who are willing to go the extra mile. Great location across from the train station. Bedding was comfortable and the room was modern and clean. Would stay here again. The staff even went above and beyond with a happy birthday sign and block of Swiss chocolate for my husbands birthday. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back!"
