"We stayed two nights at Pianelle Resort. The location was ideal for exploring the old town and taking advantage of the many nearby restaurants. The bedroom and bathroom were both spacious. They were a combination of modern / high spec and historical building. The only slight irritation / surprise was, although we didn’t need any, there would have been a charge for extra towels. This is unnecessary and sends the wrong message. However, this would not stop us from highly recommending it."

Merci 🙏 pour ce moment où on se sent chez soit et en même temps en vacances . Ce lieu est remplie d’émotions et bonnes ondes . Malgré le succès de Matera on se sent protégé et au calme. "The location of Brasiliani is incomparable, in the heart of the Sassi, but on the very edge of the ravine and the uninhabited Sassi area. It is stunning, quiet and walkable. The staff are lovely, and shuttle you from the car parking area. The breakfast is soooo good. Honestly, it was amazing."

"This hotel met our expectations in every way. Beautiful clean rooms. Warm inviting staff. Ideal locations. Great value. If we ever end up back in Matera we would seek to stay here again."

"Absolutely recommend staying here! the hotel was beautiful, the beds and pillows so so comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful and the staff were so attentive, kind and helpful. Matera is a beautiful place to visit and quite special to be able to stay right in the centre. We had access to a little patio table and it allowed us to soak up the views of this historic UNESCO site as much as we wanted. Location is also great - made it very easy to swing by our room in between each activity of the day to refresh; very important with the heat in this town. We also tried out the baths - very relaxing and worth it. Make sure to call or email the hotel to book a timeslot for the baths - you don't get a discount if you book online, even if you are staying at the hotel."

"We rented out 3 rooms , all the room are different and very unique - clean - WiFi working well . There is some stairs from the hotel lobby to the room but the staff are amazing they will take care all your luggages with no problem. We ate at the hotel restaurant upstairs for one night . The view is beautiful but the food isn’t that good, service is a big disappointment , I almost rate them lower because of the restaurant service but I feel bad for all the people who’ve working at the front desk they worked super hard to please the customers. Overall, I love the hotel - the town . 2 days is enough for you to explore this town ."
