"We had such a poor experience at Pendry DC that we chose to email the General Manager directly, as we generally prefer not to air concerns publicly. Unfortunately, it has now been over a week without even an acknowledgment that our message was received. That lack of response speaks volumes. In hospitality, especially at this level, accountability and follow-through are non-negotiable. The experience itself was disappointing, but the absence of any response afterward is what ultimately stands...

"Cleaning stuff does not know how to clean properly and even after requesting cleaning repeatedly they would not clean the room properly or at all. In some cases the toilet flush had an issue from day one and in a 9-day stay they could not get it fixed. So stop at breakfast was quite rude as well. Only redeeming value was when complaint they did offer in the last two days to switch your new room, but at that point there's no value in us switching to in your room. So if you do take up that offer."

"This hotel is well located and is a great bargain for DC. The room was clean and comfortable. I was traveling solo so there was just enough room for me. I do wish there had been a coffee pot in the room. My biggest complaint is about the staff. They were not friendly and made no effort to be engaging. The only exception was the young man who worked the front desk in the morning. "Property has all (almost all) renovated - modern very clean lots of plugs for electronic devices - always hot water - spacious - breakfast provided every morning with quite a variety of choice, all workers cheerful and helpful. We loved it. Perfect for families or working persons. A quick clean up every day and we were there for 13 days. It was perfect for us."
