"This was one of the best hotels I've stayed in recently! The bed (I did king) was soft, and so nice it was hard to get out of in the morning :). The room was unique and I loved the wood furniture, beautiful flooring, chandelier and desk. Excellent coffee in the room and even a pull out fridge drawer that was very handy as I had many leftovers. The bathroom was incredible, one of the best rain showers, with incredible hot water, marble floors and separate room for toilet. Great TV channels and listened to as much Albanian TV, great history and culture options. I used the bar/terrace every day and although I may have been the oldest person there I loved watching the coffee culture and the staff accomodated my old American lady beer requests. Please note they also stay open later than many hotel bars/restaurants I've been to which was very handy for the days I did 13 hour drives. Finally, the breakfast was incredible. I ate outside almost every day feasting on any egg type, pastries, traditional Albanian, fruit, and some of the best coffee...including an actual coffee pot so I could get good strong coffee without using a machine, although I also loved their cappucino. The staff was exceptional, they will help with anything, including help finding a unique vaccination I needed for my next travels. I would not only stay again but would move in ;)."

"We enjoyed every bit of our stay! The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. Additionally, the hotel was a walking distance from some attractions and the shopping mall. My kids loved it — we’ll definitely be back!"

"Fantastic central location but up a quiet side street. Excellent staff who were helpful and attentive. New hotel with clean room and facilities including air conditioning. We slso had a balcony. Clean towel every day and bottles of water in a little fridge. Tjis hotel was recommended to us and i would certainly recommended it to others and stay there again. Breakfast was a buffet for 8 euros snd was enough for us."

"This is a perfect hotel in a perfect location at a reasonable price in the heart of this amazing city. The staff was extremely helpful with everything. No car needed as you can walk everywhere. You are right in the middle of everything in this location. I would return in a heartbeat. "

"Very beautiful hotel. Clean in all areas. The hotel is just behind the Albanian Stadium in Tirana,which is a wow factor. Hotel is 5 minutes walk to the Pyramid, 10 minutes walk to the city . Buses from the hotel to the city centre is just 4 minutes away We went to Albania to celebrate my hubby's birthday. I ordered for a cake with the intention to pay for it, and we got a cake to feed 6-8 people for free.😃. The cake was delicious. Lawrence thanks, for helping to order the cake Lola thanks for baking my husband the lovely cake. Breakfast is a wow factor, great selection to choose from. Thanks to the cooks and waiters. Lawrence and Belsie the receptionists were very helpful during check in. There is a marvellous park with a massive lake behind the hotel. To conclude, Mak hotel is the perfect place to stay if you visit Tirana. My husband and myself loved our 5 days stay and will visit again. My only concern is staffs at the entrance not welcoming, you have to greet them, they never say hello when you leave or enter the hotel. I travel a lot, at least 5 times a year and go to different countries and staffs at the other hotels I have visited have been friendly and make you feel welcome. "
