"Beautiful, well-maintained hotel in a wine growing area of Sicily. The restaurant and wine tasting were fun and high quality. Our only complaint was that the hotel was very hard to find, even with GPS. Also the wifi did not work."

"We are vey puzzled about our 3 nights stay at Villa Carlo. The staff was very helpful and proactive. The minute we were getting to the breakfast restaurant, our cappuccino was prepared without us asking! This was the best breakfast amongst the 6 hotels we stayed at. A fantastic offering, so well presented, with an unbelievable number of choices for salty or sweet and fruits. The quality was well above standard. Even the cutlery and plates were fancy! The problem is really with the bathroom....

"Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Place was extremely clean and had perfect black out drapes on every window and door. Bed was hard, but they provided extra blankets we used as a nest. Location isn’t the most personally desirable but fine if you have a car for exploring Marsala. Kitchen is well stocked with things needed to prepare meals, but could use some staples like salt and oil. Unfortunately the WiFi didn’t really work and kicked us off and made us login an extraordinary amount of times."

"It's located in high rise type neighbourhood ,found it easily on the GPS ,not a great area,but a good apartment, shower was very small in our room, the rest of the apartment was good,baby sized TV, had trouble locating the manager , nothing much in English , not able to work out which apartment was the manager,, I told them of this problem,when I checked in, was basically told I had not paid enough, with hotel.com reservation,the wifi was not good in our room, we had to sit in the dark stairwell...

"This is a gem! The new owners are putting a lot of effort into personal touches and it's definitely working! We only stayed one night before flying from Trapani (10 minutes away) but we had a fantastic welcome, very clean & comfortable room with an unbelievably good shower, and an excellent breakfast. Highly recommended."
