Enjoyable stay. Food in buffets was good and staff attentive and friendly. Good choice of Moroccan and European dishes and excellent pizza oven and daily barbecue. Room comfortable and clean. Pools great and on site golf course convenient and attractive.

Nice hotel, nice pool areas. The room was great, although didn't have an iron. One was provided after asking a few times. Staff mainly friendly, with a couple of exceptions. Where the stay fell down in expectations was the food. I have a few allergies which I emailed the hotel about when we booked the trip. However the restaurant seemed clueless about it. I told them I am allergic to gluten, and they told me that everything had gluten in, which wasn't helpful. It was only on the second day that the fantastic Samir came to see me and was very helpful, from them on making sure I had something to eat. That said, there still was very limited options for people with dietary requirements. But I appreciated his efforts, and his friendly service. Another thing to note is that the massages we had at the spa, whilst good, were not for the shy! They do not seem to worry about your state of undress and as the women who work at the spa don't speak much English it wasn't possible to discuss!

Avoid this hotel, like your life depended on it. Service is horrible. The ac in the room was broken, took them nearly 5 hours to move us to a different room. No food or drinks are available once buffet is over. Food has no taste. Its also far from everything. One positive is that they do have a shuttle to the suk.

Our stay at the hotel was unfortunately disappointing due to a series of issues, particularly with the rooms. We had to change rooms three times. The first room had an old bathtub instead of the Italian shower we had booked, and it was only accessible by walking through an active construction area. The second room was on the first floor next to the security office, which offered no privacy, and the balcony window was broken and couldn’t be opened. The third room was slightly better, but we still struggled to open the balcony door, and the process to get this final room was long and frustrating. We also experienced a water leak in the toilet. Despite requesting help from the front desk, no one came, so we had to shut off the water ourselves. The TV was not a smart TV and didn’t work until we requested a technician, which added to the stress. The food was another low point. It was repetitive, lacked variety, and had little flavor. The Moroccan cuisine, in particular, was poorly prepared and did not reflect the richness of the country’s food culture. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially those in the restaurant, at the pool, in housekeeping, and the entertainment team. Despite the friendly staff, the hotel's room issues, poor maintenance, and bland food make it hard to recommend

Truly i believe this hotel deserves 2 stars service. Main reasons was that the hotel food was tasteless, bland and didn't had much options in the menu. Some of their building blocks were not in use and were falling apart.

I'm giving a 3-star rating only because the food was excellent and the kitchen staff were outstanding. The food was consistently delicious and catered well to our tastes. We appreciated the variety, something new every day and most of the kitchen staff were friendly and approachable Deposit Confusion: On the first day, we paid the deposit for the swimming towels in euros, as we didn’t have any dirhams. However, we noticed that the remaining change was returned in dirhams, which wasn’t explained to us at the time. We even asked the staff member who conducted our briefing if we’d get the deposit back in euros, and she confirmed that we would. Nothing was mentioned about an exchange. The day before checkout, we had to argue with the staff to get our deposit returned in euros. They claimed we had already exchanged the money, which wasn’t true and this was never communicated to us. Eventually, after some back and forth, we did get the deposit back in euros, but the whole situation was frustrating and poorly handled. Room Issues: The bathroom drain was blocked, and it flooded every time we took a shower. We had to use towels to keep the water from spreading into the room. We reported it twice, but no one came to fix it. The fridge wasn’t working. The safe didn’t work either. The tea table was stained. The body shower gel bottle was empty on arrival and never refilled, despite daily room cleaning. Shuttle Bus Timing: I really wish the free shuttle bus had more convenient timings.

A Solid 4-Star Experience (But Manage Your 5-Star Expectations) Stay: February 2026 | Resort: Pickalbatros Hotel du Golf Let me start by clarifying the rating: this resort is advertised as a 5-star property. If you are expecting the luxury level of a Four Seasons, Fairmont, or Le Méridien, you will be disappointed. I would realistically rank it as a high 3-star or a solid 4-star. That being said, if you adjust your expectations, it is still a very decent resort and we had a pleasant stay overall. Here is the breakdown of my experience: The Property & Rooms • Clean and Modern: The public areas and rooms are fairly modern, well-maintained, and very clean. My bedroom was well-appointed and comfortable. • Room Amenities: While daily tea and bottled water were always provided, I would have really appreciated an ironing board and a coffee maker in the room. The bedrooms have fairly thick doors so the rooms are really quiet at night. • No Construction: I noticed some previous reviews mentioned ongoing construction, but I am happy to report that I didn’t see or hear any construction noise during my stay. Food & Drinks • Great Buffet: The various buffets are a highlight, providing a fairly large selection. They feature outdoor grilling and tagines, a pasta station, and many other options. • Mediterranean Restaurant Quirk: We made a reservation at the Mediterranean restaurant (a short shuttle drive from the main hotel). Super belle chambre. Equipement parfait sauf le coffre qui n'était pas attaché. Il manquait un peignoir et on nous l'a amené immédiatement. Super piscines. La chambre était très propre mais le mobilier vieillissant.Une renovation est d'ailleurs en cours. Le petit dejeuner est merveilleux et varié, idem pour les autres repas mais petit bémol sur la preparation des plats qui ne sont jamais bien cuisinés.Le personnel quant à lui est vraiment attentif et agreable. L'equipe d'animation est dynamique mais le niveau est moyen, des intervenants exterieurs pourraient proposer des spectacles plus qualitatifs
