"A very welcome respite during one of the high heat waves in Paris. Strong, effective air conditioning and plenty of space for our needs. We didn't attempt to really cook in the small kitchen but it was nice to have a place to prepare breakfast. Quiet, peaceful location in an upscale neighborhood."

"The air conditionig was spotty for the first 3 days and they provided a fan but it still wasnt that effective given that Paris was going through a heat wave and 95 degree weather. They finally fixed it by the 4th night of a 5 night stay. The staff were really nice."

"The second week of July, we stayed here in a room with two beds. The ac was adequate and the room was comfortable. The bathroom was good and included a clothes line in the shower which was incredibly helpful! The rooms were cleaned every day which was helpful in that the tub didn’t get slippery as other places we stayed. The window in the bathroom offered enough light at night that you didn’t have to turn on a light. The shelf behind the toilet and sink were also very helpful! It had enough...

"We stayed at hotel Gustav for our 20th wedding anniversary. We were so thrilled with our room and view it was exactly what we had hoped for! We had a wonderful welcome gift in our room when we arrived as well. It was perfect! There was a/c which was wonderful with the heat wave that was occurring. The Eiffel Tower is just a quick walk away and lots of things to see nearby. We started one morning with a delicious baguette from the boulangerie across the street from the hotel."

"The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They anticpated our needs and offered things we needed before we asked. Always greeted us with a smile. I never felt like I was getting "sold" on something. The rooms were excellent, and the AC kept us cool even in the 100+F degree heat that Paris was experiencing that weekend! I can't say enough about how great our stay was, top to bottom!"

"Great location. Rooms were small, which we expected, but were extremely clean and well maintained. Staff at the hotel very helpful. Good breakfast provided and even better when we said we would be departing before the breakfast start time of 7am they set it out early for us. Highly recommended."
