"Amazingly peaceful stay at this beautiful grand old house filled with gorgeous and well mantained antiques. The breakfast was incredible, and we really appreciated the fresh baked gluten free bread! The service was all we could wish for and we enjoyed swimming in the pool outside under the stars. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a break from the city hustle and bustle."

All our comforts were met, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. "Property is in serious need of maintenance. Rooms are very outdated and furniture is old and extremely dirty. The couch is covered with an old blanket to “hide” the filthy old cushions and armrests are brown and greasy from the filth. Public areas is dilapidated and rundown with no attention to detail, weeds growing between paving, grass is overgrown etc etc. Television is extremely old. This place is clearly not living up to its potential and very poorly managed. "

"Very nice one night stay while travelling. Stayed in the garden room - very quiet and also has self-catering facilities. Short walk to several restaurants. We opted for a pizza nearby. Expedia shows breakfast included. This is an error - owner trying to resolve with agency. But breakfast is available at a small cost. Just ask Mike to show you his collection - stunning!"
