Lots of space in the room. Filthy carpet. Filthy bathtub. I asked that the bathtub be cleaned but it didn’t happen. Had to shower on top of a towel.

This property needs to be cleaned more frequently. The rugs are filthy. Do they ever vacuum and/or clean the rugs. Fitness center is limited. Weights are broken.

This is a 2 star property and was definitely on the high side. We were just staying overnight and did not partake in the breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. Reading the horror reviews were entertaining because I guess people expect a palace without paying for it. We will stay again as it was absolutely a bargain for the comfort.

Easy to find- right next door to steak and shake and Meijer. Breakfast was not great, the hot food especially was not good. Room was clean and quiet and no complaints there.

This was our first stay here and it was a great stay. The hotel was nice and clean and the breakfast was great. We were here to see and visit with family.

Well after today this will be my familys last time at this hotel. We usually stay here 3-4 times a year while visiting family. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. My issue lies with the breakfast staff. As I was helping my 10 year old get some waffle mix out of the machine, the nozzle came off and mix went everywhere. Instead of being understanding staff came out very annoyed and rude, as if we meant to do this. My child began crying as she felt terrible and embarrassed and the worker just continued to shoot us looks and was extremely annoyed by our presence. After this happened she shut down the waffle maker, leaving my child who has food sensitivities, nothing else to eat on site. So she had to go hungry and wait to eat until I could pack up our belongings and check out. I was very apologetic to her and the situation, but she refused to speak to me and only acknowledged me by rolling her eyes in my direction. Seems the Holiday Inn will get our future business when we stay in Marion. Maybe some sensitivity training should be in order for this 'general manager." I have never seen anybody so cold and so not understanding to a situation. DONTGO HERE WITH KIDS, you are not welcome.

Horrible experience! Staff lost in tv!
we booked a suite with a separate room and a King Size bed. We passed on a cheaper hotel, simply because of the ability to get that King size bed. We arrived and after insisting we had no reservation, they realized they checked someone else into our room under our reservation and name. We were given another room with a queen bed and it was not a suite. They told us it was all they had. No compensation for the room was provided and they offered less than an apology!

Staff was awesome...bethany took care of us while we were there and she was thorough in her cleaning and so very sweet and kind...we def will stay there again...this was our second visit there.

I like nothing about the property; however, the breakfast was good. The room smelled; we believe it was the carpet. Unfortunately, I'm covered in bites, bed bug possibly although I didn't see any bugs. I certainly have all the evidence of insect bites. The clerk took her sweet time coming out of the back room to check us in. Overall, it was quiet. If you risk it and stay here, bring a pillow, we had three on our king bed, so flat and uncomfortable it was a restless night.
