"My room had a very strong smell. Something between smoke or paint. The room looked like recently remodeled, underneath the bathroom sink and the closet didn’t even painted yet (dirty board still exposed)."

"Overall pretty good for the cost and is pretty easy drive to beaches and all the touristy places in San Diego "

"Breakfast was good and the fire outside on during the day and evening was wonderful. Pool was clean and warm. The staff was courteous. One thing that would’ve been nice is if coffee had been available in the lobby outside of the breakfast time which it wasn’t. They told me to go up in my room and use the coffee maker there. I really enjoy being able to get coffee in the lobby and sometimes sit down there as well working on my computer. That and the cups they have for water are paper cones, which are very inconvenient and can’t be set down. Nice hotel otherwise in the room was good size in our king suite."

"Room was clean and the staff was friendly. There was nothing special about the stay, rooms are not really updated. For the price I did expect a little more and you have to pay for parking which is always a bummer."

"Comfy beds, nice rooms with fridge and microwave, water refill stations on each floor, complimentary breakfast, nice on sight bar/restaurant, 24/7 snack, etc. shop with good selection, friendly staff, easy check in and out experience."

"Great staff. Hair in bathroom and the whole property inside smells awful!!! Like dirty old sponges and rags. Holes in wall by shower rod. No shampoo or soaps. "

"The first night was very nice. Unfortunately, the 2nd night, the air conditioner was leaking at about 10pm at night. So i turned it off for the whole night, which made the room stuffy. Also, the shower is a little tricky to turn on and off, and the water pressure is low"
