"First impressions of this hotel were excellent as we walked into reception & saw the most amazing views. I’m happy to say that the excellent experience continued throughout our 11 night stay. We booked a family room which was one of the 2 interconnecting rooms available in the hotel. This gave us access to a huge patio with a private pool. Such a lovely thing to have as this pool stayed in the sun all day whilst also allowing access to shade if needed. The staff were just wonderful. They could not do enough to help & were some of the friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever come across. I also need to mention the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful & of great quality. We had dinner in the restaurant 3 times during our stay & the food was exceptional. Superb cooking & fantastic service. The price was also very reasonable for the quality offered & worked out to be no more expensive than some other restaurants in the village with the guest ‘10% off offer’ provided. It was a shame that the restaurant wasn’t busier with more guests because it really was very good! As other guests have commented, this hotel feels much more like a 5* rather than the 4* rating it has. It’s a small hotel with only 29 rooms which means that the attention to detail & service are top notch. Highly recommend as a base for exploring this area of Croatia. "
