"I must admit, when we drove up I was like "what did I sign up for"? We were debating in the car if we even wanted to get out. We walk into the office and was immediately met with a smell. Not to be mean, but we immediately knew the nationality of the people running the office; if you know, you know. I was booked for two nights, but at this point, I was almost willing to take my loss and just leave. Let me tell you, I'm so glad we decided to just go look at the room. We opened the door and it had such a pleasant smell. The room was clean. It definitely took me by surprise. Where we were pleased with the room, of course it had its bad points. For one, once I pulled the covers back to spray it with lysol, we noticed the bedspread was stained with who knows what. The towels were dingy and there was some type of patch covering up something in the bathtub. We didn't complain to the office about any of it. Other than that, it was a doable stay. For the price I would say it was good. My main thing was the fact that it was clean and smelled pleasant."

"Unique is that one of the owners greeted us as we pulled up and extended a lovely welcome. Check-in was fast and efficient and as we were struggling with the luggage cart, a manager was quick to help us coming in and when we were checking out. The food, though still typical quick hotel breakfast, was prepared in a manner that made it appealing to see and tasty to eat (not typical in most breakfast-included hotel stays). And I might add that the coffee AND the cappicino was amazingly yummy and FRESH. The room was extremely clean and every part of the inside and outside property was so well cared for, which was very refreshing to view and enjoy after a long road trip! While eating breakfast the manager appeared and my husband made a point of getting up to speak with him and tell him how delighted we were at the cleanliness of the property and the tasty food, as well as the amazingly friendly and caring staff. He looked at my husband and shook his hand and said, โThank you, you made my day, and we do try hard.โ They opened for business 10 years ago, but the treatment we were given โฆโฆ youโd think they were brand new! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!"

"We stayed in a beautiful, large suite that was clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and easily wheelchair accessible, with a very nice sized roll-in shower for my husband who is in a wheelchair. The large breakfast selection was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we pass through Gainesville, TX. I highly recommend!"
