Our experience with East Bay Residences was extremely frustrating and confusing, especially after arriving from a long flight.
When we arrived at the property, security guards at the gate stopped us and asked for a building number and room number. Unfortunately, we had not been provided with any of this information beforehand because the host never contacted us prior to our arrival. We were not even aware that the accommodation was located inside a condominium complex rather than a regular hotel.
Because of this, we were left standing outside with our luggage, trying to figure out where we were supposed to go and who to contact. There was no front desk or reception area to assist us, which made the situation even more stressful after traveling for many hours.
The lack of clear communication and instructions from the host made check-in unnecessarily difficult and disorganized. Guests should be provided with clear details, building information, and contact instructions in advance, especially when staying in a private unit within a condominium rather than a traditional hotel.
We hope that future guests are given proper check-in instructions and contact information to avoid the confusion and inconvenience that we experienced.
