"This a is a stunning, beautiful property in a great location! The check in went well. The staff were friendly and helpful with the check in. We ordered food to eat in our lodge. The restaurant is not accessible for people with mobility difficulties. The staff offered to have my elderly guest wheeled in to the back of the restaurant for morning breakfast. The property switched staff that afternoon and things went downhill. We were having difficulty opening and locking the front door to our lodge. We had scheduled to be picked up for dinner at the restaurant and they never came. Came after I had called 40 minutes later. We were served cold dinner. The staff were not helpful at all. Our safety was an issue, the door could not lock from the inside and they was little attempt to solve this. They could have moved us to another lodge. I had to tell them to lock from the outside and hand me the key through the back sliding door. Next morning no show for breakfast pickup at the restaurant. This was our last day. I expected them to do better. The staff attitude was u owe me. We were the only guests (4 people) at this property but they failed to provide good service. They could not do the checkout. I was presented with a bill double charging me for the two nights that I had paid for through Expedia a month before our stay. I was told I had to prove that I paid for it. This was wild for the amount they charge and the service they provide it’s not professional at all. Disappointed."
