It's a great place to stay ,good value , close to everything ,Parkmall is straight across the road , the staff are wonderful. All they need to do is put proper little refrigerators in the rooms . Thanks .

Adequate hotel in cebu city

Room is big and spacious. Simple furniture and lack of decor. No restaurant onsite. Next to Time Square mall and lots of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. Please don’t be confused with location of Big Hotel which is less than 5 mins walk distance.

This hotel is very close to a mall and Time Square. If you are a person who loves to go out at night and drink, Time Square 1&2 is open until 12midnight.

BIG Hotel is decieving!!!

no hand towel, toilet seat is broken, room smells seawage, windows not double glaze you can hear cars/motorcycles/trucks honking & other guests talking outside, value for money? DEFINETELY NOT!

Wifi is bad

The wifi is not working, and i have to use my 4G. Telecom is not receiving and unable to use 4G. It is just like a bullet room where no signal can really travel within the room. Bad connection and I have to come out of the room just to use my computer.

The room that was given to us had no window view. None was mentioned about this when we selected this room. However, we were moved to another room, upgraded without extra charge...

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IN CEBU CITY AREA

This hotel is convenient to all when you are staying in Cebu City area. Clean, reasonable, comfortable, big room, with coffee maker. surrounded by restaurant and bar. highly recommended.

Wifi was 5 bars, but didn't work.

I love the location of the hotel. You can always get a taxi and if you don't want to go out in the rain, you don't have too. There are many restaurants and bars including the LIV disco to walk to. But, the wifi didn't work. I got 5 bars, but still it didn't work. Instead I used my GF hotspot instead. If wifi is critical and you don't have a hot spot, then maybe you shouldn't stay here. Trying to book the room you want is difficult. Management plays some game to restrict the room on hotels.com. I am not sure what the goal is for this, but I didn't stay that long this time as I wanted a bigger room with a window and not have to pay a premium price.

Big hotel but small on any comfort.

Hotel staff rude not helpful. Comfort & privacy none you could hear what ever the other guest where doing I mean everything.!!! WFI never working. Dinning the food was cold. Tables not cleaned. If the staff have a problem with Filipino women being married to westerners keep to them selfs have respect for nationalities not matter. As we all are guest in the hotel Equality everybody is equal in my eyes. Big hotel small minded staff....!!! Management needs to take hold & teach there staff respect ..!!!!!!!!!!!!'

VERY GOOD.

The location was good and have alot of restaurants around the area and easy to find food. The shopping mall is also nearby. The room is clean but the only bad is the internet line was slow. Highly recommended can stay in this hotel.

The Big Hotel Suites is in an ideal spot right across the road from Parkmall shopping centre . The rooms are large and and the service is typical filipino always smiling and helpful . My only complaint would be the hot water isn't so hot and they need to put better bar fridges in the rooms . The ones they have now are basically useless. Other than that it is a terrific place to stay . Great restaurants and bars only a very short walk from the elevators . Cheers

Staff could be friendlier

Staff was not so friendly. They questioned me when I asked for additional toilet paper. They only provide one key. They only allow 3 people maximum per room. (What do you do if there are 4 people in your family?) The towels are very raggedy despite the hotel being only 1 year old. Good location, as it is close to the mall and airport.

Rate this 4.6 for me. Wifi was constant 5 bars

The location is incredible. You are in City Time Square. When it rains, you don't have to go into the rain unless you want to. The restaurants and bars are all available to you with a short walk in the covered area. Okay, the room might be better. Avoid the rooms with no window to the outside.

Fantastic area - walking distance to all places!

Fantastic area! Cool hotel w/ great amenities & nice breakfast buffet! It's right in the middle of everything, restaurants, spas, massage places, shopping ALL in walking distance!! Great value & price! Will definitely stay again!

Good place to stay if you're the nocturnal type

The hotel is actually a splinter/sister-hotel of BIG Hotel - I had a better experience with the latter. One tip though: don't dare sleep early. The rooms aren't that sound-proofed and the occasional live music just below the property wraps up just before midnight. The location is good for those who have an active night life and are eager to explore the neighboring arcade and the adjacent mall. The rooms could use a little bit more of heavy cleaning and some renovation with more accessories in it, e.g. hanged paintings or pictures. Also, the air conditioning unit of the room that I was staying in is either long overdue for a cleaning or is just not properly positioned to maximize cooling and circulation. I only recommend this hotel is you're the nocturnal type and just sleeps through most part of the day. The place does show some promise so maybe I'll wait a few years to check it out once again.

Friendly Staff - Loud Music Friday/Saturday Nights

As an American visiting the Philippines, I can tell you the employees at this hotel are golden (and desperately underpaid). Everyone, from doorman, security guards, kitchen staff, receptionist, cleaning staff, IT staff, even the sidewalk vendor, are some of the kindest people on planet Earth! Although I'm an American, these wonderful and kind people made me feel safe, secure, and at home. I can only pray that the recent political climate between our two countries will improve, and Americans (and others) will continue to be welcomed into the beautiful Philippines . If loud music bothers you, then request a room further away from the street level. Thank you Big Hotel!!
