Beautiful hotel to come relax with the wife I would rate 10 out 10 for everything from the location FOOD STAFF whom were all amazing. A special shout out to PERLA and DEBORA. The room was feets from the ocean and all day all you can hear is the ocean waves. The friendly staff also made the stay extremely comfortable always looking to offer drinks or whatever your heart desires. Hotel has a great pool so that when you get tired of the ocean you can continue to relax One of the best option is food that is offered by the hotel it’s ALL prepared for you and they always come by with there menu to take your order and the food was always amazing. I WOULD RENAME TO THE RELAX AND PAMPER HOTEL would definitely recommend to anyone
Great hotel. Simple yet functional bungalows with the ocean view. Excellent welcoming and attentive service from staff. Food is good - we ate on premises during 3-day stay and all dishes were good including both traditional and creole peruvian. Not much to see or do outside beside the walks on the beach. Will gladly return.
If you are visiting the north of Peru this is a must! It may take half an hour from Mancora to get there but worth the trip. Excellent place to spend a couple of days with family at the beach. Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming since the very first minute and kid friendly as well. Suites are amazing with breathtaking sunset views. The only thing that was kind of difficult was to get cash around the area because Canoas de punta sal is not a very big city( no mall, no shopping area, not many options to hang out ) so I suggest to get cash before hand but in the hotel itself they accepted all kind of cards and also transportation it’s on mototaxi, private car or you can share a ride with other people. Every place was neat at Yemaya, very good food and drinks. We will be back. Thanks for everything.
Yemaya is a visually appealing boutique hotel with spacious, well-designed rooms that feel calm and relaxing. The private patio was a highlight and added a nice sense of privacy. The beach is beautiful, and the sunsets are truly memorable. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Sleep comfort could be improved. Exterior lighting combined with the lack of blackout curtains made the room quite bright at night, and the nearby two-lane highway created noticeable noise on busier evenings. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs.
Service, while friendly, was inconsistent. During several meals, servers brought empty glasses to the table but did not offer or ask about beverages, requiring us to request drinks ourselves. On more than one occasion, drinks arrived only after plates had already been cleared. Breakfast service was also slow—one morning coffee took nearly 20 minutes, and another morning we eventually got it ourselves.
Food quality was generally good but inconsistent. Breakfast lacked variety, and lunch and dinner required ordering several hours in advance, which felt restrictive for a beach vacation. One pasta dish was excellent the first night, but when my partner ordered it again—specifically seeking a repeat of that version—it arrived prepared differently each time.
Beach access was mostly easy, though the closest gate was locked, requiring a short walk. Loungers were provided, but umbrellas would have improved comfort.
Best for a 2-3 night stay.
This resort is so cute! We stayed in a thatched roof cabana, right on the beach. Our cabana was clean & comfortable, beautifully decorated with extra touches, including a drying rack for our wet swim suits. We slept peacefully to the soothing sounds of the ocean. The staff was very friendly & attentive. The food was delicious. We dined outside with a view of the infinity pool & the ocean. Lovely!

Very peaceful if you looking to get away and relax a few day, beautiful sunset, the amenities are basic but enough to have a great time, the best is sleeping with the sound of the ocean.
Great food, service and pisco sours.
Definitely I’ll come back.
