"Beautiful hotel with very friendly and polite staff. The property was spotless and cleaning staff in evidence around the hotel throughout the day. Clean room with balcony and sea view. Wonderful shower although the cubicle itself was not particularly big. A large choice for breakfast, though the same choice available every day of our stay. Beautiful pool and bar area and cabanas on the beach. Very slippy rocks to gain entrance to the sea, a safer walkway would help. We really enjoyed our stay...

"This was our 6th visit to The Mayia hotel and it never disappoints . From the moment you walk in you are greeted with calmness and smiles. All the staff in every area of the hotel are all wonderful although a special mention for Erjeta in customer relations for looking after us and making our trip extra special . "Excellent place to stay, particularly for families with young kids. We're all grown up but it was still really good. Suitable for disabled people. The private beach is such a flex as well, and it felt very safe. The food was decent considering they're cooking at scale 24/7. There is entertainment during the day and at night including live music. Being a resort, it felt a little insular as I guess many guests don't really leave the place because they have everything there, like a mini-town. But...

"Really special place to stay. The team are lovely. The food is great - especially in the Blu Fin restaurant. We booked into a room with a private pool - needn’t have bothered because it is so nice being by the sea that we hardly ever used it. The sea is stunning and the natural reef means that the water is warm, it is virtually not tidal and even to go see shoals of fish. Will return."

"More like a 3.5 than a 5*. Overall property was clean but the Cleaning staff was a bit difficult and did not clean our room properly on both days. Not many food options or shall i say good options for vegetarians/ vegan. Reception staff is overall nice and friendly but can be selective with their behaviour at times. "
