Top Malolo Island Hotel Reviews

Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Staff and facilities are fantastic"

Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa by IHG

8/10 Good

"This is a beautiful resort, well-designed, well-maintained, and very clean. We loved the grounds with their beautiful landscaping and fabulous pools. Our room was clean, really spacious and well-appointed. It even came with a bathroom scale and a flashlight—something I’ve never seen in a hotel room. The 3 restaurants were fine, with the exception of the beach front bistro, where the service was poor. One meal simply did not arrive. We were generously compensated for the error, but it was not a good experience. The only serious complaint I have is when we found out that we would need an electrical adapter to charge our devices. We’d not realized that our North American plugs wouldn’t work. And the sole usb charging port in our room was broken. When I asked if we could borrow an adapter for our 3-night stay, I was told that the hotel “did not have any,” and I would have to buy one from the hotel shop. The hotel shop was closed. Happily, the faulty usb port was promptly replaced, so we could recharge our phones after our 20 hours of travel time. But I was annoyed that the hotel refused to lend us an adapter, insisting we buy one from a closed shop. I thought the 5 different staff members I talked to about this essentially refused to help me solve the problem."

Malolo Island Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Our family are all frequent travelers and especially to Fiji (over 15 times).I couldn't fault anything while we were at Malolo. What a perfect paradise for our little family! Everything was so well thought out and the staff was just so caring and thoughtful which made a real difference to our holiday with two little kids. The kids club and nannies were so much fun and very experienced. The food really exceeded our high expectations. The activity crew just kept delivering for us. The singers were divine. Easy to say we have found a new favourite and will be coming back next year!"

Funky Fish Beach & Surf Resort - Hostel

10/10 Excellent

"Funky Fish felt like a warm hug for weary budget travellers. It's comfortable, down to earth, and so accommodating. All of the staff were kind and helpful, the food was delicious, and the excursions they offered were an absolute blast. It was a great way to meet other travellers, rest, and have a peaceful break away from the bigger resort areas. I'll recommend funky fish again and again and again!"
