Lovely property and really friendly staff. Our apartment was nice but very tired. Air conditioner was slow. Bathroom was very dated. A large gap around sliding door means you can hear everything in the bathroom. Overall apartment was nice and sited next to pool. Snack bar was good. Self service was helpful. All inclusive was good but only includes drinks with dinner. Bar prices are reasonable. The only downside was we found a cockroach in our bedroom

They need to add pictures of what the room REALLY looks like. You DO NOT get a double room. Rather a double inside a really small box room. Hardly any space. This is NOT a 4 star. More like a 2 star. MAYBE a 3 star at best.

One of my worst hotel experience.
It was rated as a 4star on your website but I disagree completely. At best, it is a 3star. The hotel is in need of refurbishment. The cleanliness was a write off. No entertainment- no matter how subtle and the food was quite basic. The hotel staff are not prepared to host international tourists. We were disappointed. I wanted to leave as soon as I checked in. I won’t recommend this hotel to anyone

The property was in a great location with a short 3min walk to the beachfront. The hotel staff were friendly & the hotel was very clean. Family rooms nice & spacious if travelling with kids. We were on half board and there was plenty of choice for the buffet breakfast and dinner.

Location is an easy taxi ride from the airport. Check in was smooth - staff were friendly and efficient. There's a main building and then several satellite buildings around the central pool courtyard. Property was clean and well maintained. The room was clean and well maintained - a little dated, but overall our family of four (two adults and two children) enjoyed our time in the 1 bedroom suite with fold out couch in the living room, fridge and small stovetop/microwave. Salt water pool was great - clean and plenty of lounge chairs. only criticism - the pool and pool bar hours are pretty limited (closes at 1900) - but plenty to do within easy walking distance of the hotel - great restaurants, the beach and very active night life. Breakfast buffet was included and had a great selection of foods for all appetites - clean and well prepared.

We really enjoyed the stay in the hotel. The food was very good, tasty and fresh. Very wide selection for breakfast and dinner. Nice cakes, fish, seafood and Spanish meat. Easter break
Great choice. Hotel receptionist ( young man) was very helpful & was always polite & courteous. Suite was perfect for a family. Shower didn't work properly & it took a few visits to reception to get it sorted, which we did in the end. Food was healthy & varied. Staff were helpful especially the younger ones. I loved the indoor pool & the changing areas were spotlessly clean. The lady that organised the kids club was wonderful also. I would rebook and recommend.

Great Place to Relax in Winter
Quick transfer from airport and you are at the hotel. Reception were great, on arriving on an early flight too early to check in invited to store my suitcase and offered a complimentary drink. Food, restaurant and bar/lounge great and pools fantastic. I am not a cyclist but great cycle service and 5 minute walk to the seafront

Fun time in Palma
We were a family of 4 with 2 children of 5yr & 6yr old. We travelled in the last week of October and it was a great holiday for whole family. The hotel is outside of the city away from traffic and It takes only 15min by taxi from Airport. Hotel is located only 100mt from the beach and the beach is around 6km in length. The whole area around beach is filled with lots of restaurants and handout places. We took half board and it was a buffet style for breakfast and dinner. The food for dinner was great as each day they were preparing dishes of different cuisine (TexMex, Turkish..etc.,). Overall the stay in the hotel was great and kids enjoyed the time.

Great facilities and location, poor standard rooms
The hotel is well located, close to the beach, shops and local buses to Palma City and to the airport. All the staff are very professional, helpful, polite and efficient. The hotel facilities are great: 2 adult pools, a gym, a spa and a cloth shop. The food at the restaurant both at breakfast and dinner was varied and good. However, the standard room are so small that it was very hard for us to fit our suitcases. We had to walk sideways to get into the small balcony. We could hear people talking in the rooms next to us, slaming the doors and walking through the corridors. The bathroom towels were very tired and need to be renewed. In my view, although the hotel has got great facilities, the standard rooms should get only 2 stars, certainly not 4 stars. One of the most annoying thing was the fact that people were reserving loungers near the pools as from 7am, placing their beach towels on them and turning on later in the afternoon. Meanwhile, it was very difficult for us to get a free lounger near the pool. I strongly believe that the hotel management should find an efficient solution in order to avoid such selfish attitudes from some of the clients of the hotel.

A few hiccups but worth the stay.
Overall the hotel is great. The only complaint I have is that the rooms definitely need to be updated. The a.c. wasn't working right in the whole building we were in and they couldn't do anything to help? The rest of the hotel is amazing though. The pool area is great. The food is amazing! Although you have to pay for drinks with dinner. Paid 1.90 € for water after already paying a decent amount extra for dinners included. Update the rooms and provide at least basic drinks with dinner and the hotel is 5 stars. The area is fantastic. Less than 10 minute drive from the airport. 5 minute walk to the beach. Overall good choice.

Nice hotel but too many people in the resort!
On the downside we had a very small bedroom, could only just get past the bed. Also had to pay for in room safe and to change pool towels. No coffee/tea or fridge in room either. On the plus side, the breakfast buffet was very good and replenished quickly when sports teams fell upon it like locusts! Staff were all very pleasant also. The resort was a shock in that it was so busy, mainly with German tourists and many, many groups of beer drinking men.

Hotel conforming with 4* standards in terms of facilities, though lacking sufficient quality. Although rooms are generally clean, cutlery was often dirty both in the room and in the restaurants. Generally facilities were good with exception of outside table tennis and billiard that used overused equipment, like broken rackets and pool cues. Food quality of good standard. In general a hotel recommended to families with smaller children that can enjoy safe environment at a pool with acceptable quality of accommodation and subsistence.

Nice hotel needs better entertainment
Majority German clientele so not so much social interaction if you are other nationality, nice hotel, nice staff, great food. On the downside entertainment was poor to downright terrible and not the fault of the lovely entertainments manager who tried very hard to get people to keep fit classes during the day. Its as though the hotel (all inc) expects people to leave at night and doesn't want to waste the money. They really need an animation team to get people interacting and involved. Everyone was talking about whether the show tonight was worse than the last one. It is about 3 minutes walk from the beach which is predominantly nightclubs and drunk young people but the hotel complex was fine. Along the beach front North African guys are selling stuff illegally and aren't policed at all. Do not go out late at night unless you want to watch the prostitutes negotiate or see young couples having sex on cars in fully lit streets. The hotel can't be held responsible for this of course - and it is a nice hotel - but you should be informed about the area before deciding on a hotel. Little things: Net curtains needed on the windows so the light blocking curtains could be opened and still have some privacy. A kettle should be available in all rooms. Overall, we liked the hotel but didn't like the area and would have liked better entertainment on site.

We booked this hotel based on other review but we were very disappointed. Almost every aspect of the experience was bad. Our room was ridiculously small with almost no space between the foot of the bed and the opposite wall. We had requested a double bed. We got two singles made up separately and pushed together. The hotel corridors are very long and not separated in to shorter sections by any internal doors. The result is that that anyone opening or closing their room door makes a massive echoing din which disturbs people in the 39 other rooms. The shower head would not stay in the correct position. There were very few English TV channels. The hotel bar has just one red wine (in a Spanish hotel!) which was terrible. The staff refused to get us a decent bottle from the restaurant on two separate occasions even though we made it clear that we were happy to pay the price. One day the hotel ATM was out of order so we asked at reception for the location of the nearest cash machine. The receptionist didn't know. At checkout we were not asked about our stay. Completely hopeless. We will not be staying at a Barceló hotel or resort again.

THE BEACH OF THIS HOTEL IS ON WALKING DISTANCE.
EXPERIENCE, THE FIRST FEW OF THE HOTEL WAS OK, LOCATION, SURROUNDING WAS WONDERFUL. SAUNA AND STEAM ROOM WERE OK, ONLY THE SWIMMING POOL INDOORS WAS COLD, I ONLY WENT 1 TIME TO SWIM IN THAT FIRST TIME SWIMMING I ALMOST SLIPPED 4 TIMES, WAS A BIT DANGEROUS, THE TILES WERE ALWAYS WET.

Nice family orientated hotel in good location.
Nice location just back from main resort but close to the beach made this an ideal hotel from summer break. Quick transfer from airport made holiday got off to a prompt start. Facilities well maintained and meal times ran efficiently with plenty of choice.

The Barceló Pueblo Park is a very nice hotel (we stayed in a superior room that was quite a bit larger than the standard offering ).Food is of a good standard and plenty of choice for continental hotel .The staff are very good most with very good English ,considering the resort is dominated by a German presence - loud but a lot better behave than if it was a British resort!!. The hotel has a smallish pool area which can be difficult to get a sun bed if you go down after 9am .

First impressions of the hotel when I entered the reception area was WOW this is really a nice place. Once I walked into my aparthotel this changed. The room really spelled bad as if mold was present. Found out later the smell was coming from the AC unit, maybe the filter needed to be changed I guess we got use to it. It was either that or be hot in July. The furniture and kitchen is dated and needs to be replaced. The sink and toilet in the bathroom where nice and looked new. The bathtub was old and it had rust around the edges. As stated the hotel itself is beautiful on the outside. Given a little TLC this could be a great hotel and I would stay there again. The food was okay nothing to brag about. There was plenty of fresh vegetables, fruit and a variety of deserts.

OK hotel in the centre of "german party" area!
We stayed at Barcelo Pueblo for 4 nights in May and have enjoyed our stay overall, the hotel facilities were ok and rooms were comfortable and we felt that it was a good value for money. The food was simple and good choice. we had half board included and only had to pay for drinks. The area, however, wasn't exactly what we imagined it would be. The area of Can Patilla and S'Arenal is completely for germans, there were 90% of German holiday makers, 80% of whom were male... 2 streets away from the hotel is the famous Bierkonig pub where all germans started drinking from 10am till morning. there are also plenty of discos, strip clubs and bars. It was fun to watch but it wasn't the type of holiday we were after (we are 2 females, mum and daughter). The beach is only 8 minutes walk away and lovely and sandy and the sea was warm so we have enjoyed swimming. Overall it's a great place for a party holiday however if you are not german, you might find it a bit boring...
