"The rooms were lovely and clean. They were basic compared with the rest of the hotel, they could have done with some more storage or drawers. Food was good, entertainment was great, the children’s pool was a little small but done the job and there was always sun beds. I’d happily go back and I never usually say that"

"The welcome at the hotel was outstanding, being welcomed back as friends, as one of their family along with the food quality, makes staying at the Alexandros a genuine and authentic Greek experience. The cleanliness of the hotel, the rooms and communal areas is outstanding. Pool is lovely and never an issue in getting a sun bed, there was always plenty spare.The family (Maria, Paul and Litsa) work incredibly hard to run a lovely, authentic Greek family run hotel, but is there heart and soul that they put into your care, that really shines through."

"The staff was warm, smiley, and courteous. There was an issue with the room, and it was handled quickly and efficiently. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel owner was a pleasant person who came to talk with us, gave us tips on where to travel, and asked for our suggestions on how to improve the hospitality. It was definitely an excellent experience in Crete, and we will surely return there next time."

"Amazing place, the host couldn't do enough! They were always on hand if you needed them, they dropped off ice creams, and fresh juice. The places is picture perfect spotlessly clean. The pool a lovely temperature, and perfectly refreshing. Couldn't have asked for a better stay! We did have some neighbours of a group of young people but the hosts were communitive and ensured that we weren't disturbed and that all of that everyone enjoyed their stay. Highly recommend this property!"

"Great accommodation, staff are wonderful. Breakfast was delicious! Additional food and bar drinks are pricey compared to town, not helped by poor exchange rate. Would definitely recommend, lovely walk into town. "
