"Room smelled musty, lots of cigarette smoke in the whole hotel, our room was not made up one day, towels were not changed 2/4 days , fridge was.broken, tv did not work all 4 nights, we requested an extra pillow the first night and never received it,toilet paper rolls were not refilled, hand soap dispenser was almost empty, SAFE was missing and when we told them they said the previous guest took it as they couldn’t open it, they brought a safe that was a handheld one about 6x9 inches, that you could easily walk off with as it was not attached to anything so we couldn’t use it for passports, valuables and money as it wasn’t safe. in room phone to reception did not work, the receptionist when there was one there..were nice but did not know how to contact manager owners ( or so they said) so we could inform of all these terrible things …. good location, pretty patio except for the non stop smell of cigarettes from the people below… definitely not a place we would return to or recommend "

"The receptionist was very helpful and let us get int our three rooms early after an early flight Split. they put a bottle of fizz in my room as I was celebrating a big birthday which was lovely. The hotel was up a slight hill but very easy to walk five minutes in to the harbour and old town. Lovely boutique hotel with lots of character. The safe didn’t work in my room, which she was open about. And the shower in my downstairs ran cold most of the time, where the other two rooms upstairs had lovely hot showers. The outside door to our part of the hotel (6 rooms in our wing) was left unlocked. It probably would have helped to know they deliver clean bedding. Etc in the small hours. Having heard the outside metal frame door creek open at 430am several times I don’t and hour and a half thinking we had random people in the hallway as I hadn’t heard them go up the stairs. A great price for a lovely hotel. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again. "

"Amazing location within the walls of the palace. The hotel is right next to several ancient sites so if your plan is to see Diocletian’s palace and be close by to the city centre then this is an excellent location. The room was good and clean and the staff were helpful. The shower layout in our room was a bit odd (you had to hold the shower head as the holder was very low and could not be raised) and the breakfast was fine but could have been better. Had a great time and enjoyed our stay."
