Peu mieux faire...

Dans un premier temps, il est compliqué de trouver l'hôtel, car il n'y a aucune indication... Ensuite, nous avions une chambre avec patio donnant sur la mer, mais en fait il s'agit d'un pation commun... donc, par exemple, ouvrir les rideaux de la baie vitrée revient à inviter toutes les personnes présentes à observer votre vie privée... très gênant ! Pour le reste, la chambre est bien équipée, même si elle donne l'impression d'un garage transformé en chambre...

We had a comfortable Stay. The toilet and shower Room required updating. The floor flooded Each time one had a shower. I would have liked some cups and teaspoons in the hotel room. The bed was really comfortable and the floor was lovely. The domestic was excellent. Clean towels everyday and bed made over. Patio was ok. There could have been more hangers in the wardrobes. Staff were Lovely and the breakfast and other foods Offered were Excellent. Lovely friendly staff.

I loved my stay at Sunday Life. We had a beautiful view from our lovely balcony which had huge sliding glass doors. Cleanliness was excellent, as was the room service every day. Great breakfast and delightful staff. Would love to return!

Gestione familiare e Personale fantastico che ti fa sentire a casa,accogliente e gentile dal primo all ultimo minuto,cucina eccellente e ristorante con vista bellissima, camere a metà tra antico e moderno comode funzionali larghe con doccia immensa e grande letto con aria condizionata ,vista mare fantastica, albergo a due passi da agia Pelagia...ci lasciamo un pezzo di cuore

Difficult to get to if you dont have a car but once you get here it is a nice stay. We came from Chania by bus and was dropped off on the highwaz. Took us 40 minutes walking some path to get here.... You get a beautiful view of the beach and the walk down to the beach takes less than 8 minutes. They have their own restaurant and pool but we did not get a chance to check it out.

Great option in Heraklion area

Sunday Life is a great deal - the rooms have an amazing view of the sea from the room and balcony, they’re big and comfortable and have everything you need. The staff is courteous and available for anything you need. The hotel is close to Heraklion but also to some cute nearby towns. It’s about a 10 min walk to a nice beach. My favorite town in the Heraklion area for charm and history/character is Archanes — highly recommend visiting!

Great hotel with a view

The hotel has a great view as it’s located on a hilltop and it’s only 10 minutes away from the beach. Our room was huge! And the staff are really helpful and friendly.

Une catastrophe

Je tiens à prévenir les gens de ne pas réserver dans cet hotel. La description est erronée j'ai l'impression de mettre bien fait avoir. En tant que sportif j'avais retenu cet hotel car il decrivait une salle de sport mais en arrivant quelle fut ma surprise ... Salle de sport???? laissé moi rire, la soit disant salle de sport se trouve dans la laverie de l'hotel et pour couronner le tout il n'y avait qu'un tapis hors d'usage et une haltère jetée par terre recouvert avec des draps sales. C'est intolérable et inexcusable!!!! Comment peut on vendre ce genre de séjour dans un tel hotel!!!! Je suis plus que déçu! Comment Expédia peut passer à côté de ce genre de détail. Et je n'ai pas fini, l'hotel se trouve à 2-3 km à pieds de la plage, perdu dans les hauteurs de Agia Pelagia donc sans voiture oublié, la piscine laissait à désirer quant à sa propreté n'en parlons pas. Si vous êtes une personne agée ou une femme enceinte (le cas de ma femme), encore pire car vu le nombre incalculable de marches à monter pour arriver aux chambres vous n'êtes pas arrivé. Je pourrai continué encore longtemps mais je pense avoir été clair. De ce fait, j'espère un retour de la part d'Epédia avec une offre d'au moins 30% sur mon prochain voyage comme dédommagement car c'est inacceptable.

Great view and food - felt right at home

The hotel was clean and modern. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The breakfast was filling and the dinners were outstanding. Stergios (one of the owners and the chef) treated us like family. He makes the tastiest meals in Crete! The hospitality we received was warm and sincere. The well organized beach was about a leisurely 10 minute walk. Great exercise and a great way to see which restaurants to go. The main negative was the lack of clear and visible signage to lead us to the hotel. Be warned that it is a steep drive down if you are arriving from above from the main highway especially at night. Try and arrive while there is still some light. Then again the lack of clear and legible (no graffiti) signage is typical of Greece. We arrived late after getting lost in the dark and Stergios treated us to a drink and snack. His home-made melon raki is pure nectar. Also, a second air conditioner or fan in the second room would have been ideal. Highly recommended for the view, the food and the hospitality of all the staff.

J'ai rarement vu un personnel aussi sympa et attentif aux besoins. Une tres belle equipe lors de notre passage, surtout au contact des enfants. Bien que tout le confort soit present, notre chambre etait tout de même un peu vieillotte (je pense que certaines chambres semblaient plus modernes). La salle de bains en particulier a besoin de rénovation et d'un système qui n'inonde pas la chambre a chaque douche). En cuisine par contre c'est parfait - petit déjeuner goûteux et copieux et très bons plats a la carte. Au total une expérience pas mal du tout et surtout un bon rapport qualité-prix. Attention l'accès en voiture n'est pas aisé (très très raide).

Awesome Experience

The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. They took pleasure in catering their guests. The food was delicious and inexpensive. It was about a 10 minute walk to Agia Pelagia beach. The view of the ocean from the property was to die for. It is definitely worth the price we paid.

Zauberhaftes Hotel zum kleinen Preis

Unser Aufenthalt im Sunday Life in Agia Pelagia mit zwei Personen hat uns begeistert: Das Hotel liegt etwa 20 Min mit dem Mietwagen von Heraklion Airport entfernt im kleinen Ort Agia Pelagia. Sowohl vor als auch hinter dem Hotel gibt es Parkplätze, die von Hotelgästen genutzt werden können. Unser Zimmer (Junior Suite) war im Obergeschoss und hatte (wie meines Eindrucks nach alle Zimmer) einen traumhaften Blick vom balkon über die Bucht. Das Zimmer war klein aber ausreichend groß für zwei Personen und stets sehr sauber. Es verfügt über eine Klimaanlage. Leider roch einer der Abflüsse im Bad gelegentlich. An den Strand sind es etwa 15 Minuten Fußweg durch den Ort. Es sind liegen für 2€ pro Tag verfügbar. Das Wasser am Strand war im frühen Mai frisch, aber nicht zu kalt zum schwimmen und traumhaft klar. Yannis und der Rest vom Team waren stets sehr freundlich und haben der grieschichen Gastfreundschaft alle Ehre gemacht: zu Ankunft gab es Kaffee, ein dessert und Raki aufs Haus, bei Abfahrt noch einen Frappé zum mitnehmen. Das viel gelobte Frühstück haben wir leider nie probiert, abends gab es wechselnde Empfehlungen des Hauses mit teilweise Zutaten aus dem eigenen Garten zu einem Preis, der leicht unter den Restaurants im Ort liegt. Es hat uns zweimal sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Abendessen wird auf einer Terasse serviert, die ebenfalls mit einem traumhaften Ausblick aufwarten kann. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt absolut genossen und werden das Sunday Life weiterempfehlen!

Nous avons passés 1 semaine au SUNDAY LIFE HOTEL Acceuil trés chaleureux trés belle chambre literie confortable trés propre les petits déjeuners copieux les repas sont variés traditionnels et savoureux ils sont servis en terrasse vue mer ou en intérieur c est au choix tout cela accompagné d un fond de musique traditionnelle atmosphére crétoise garantie nous avons adorés , les propriétaires et le personnel de l établissement sont au petits soins c était parfait trés agréable séjour en créte

Simple, great view, best food, excellent service.

The warmest of welcomes and generosity of service would make me recommend this hotel to anyone, even thought the rooms were fairly basic. Its position on the hillside meant there was a wonderful view of the village below and the sea and sky every morning, twinkling lights in the evening. We were cared for in every way including a lift to the bus stop on our first morning, a packed lunch on one occasion, plenty of advice about places to visit, etc. I even had some special recipes made for me on request. The food was the tastiest and freshest we found anywhere on the island, with authentic, traditional dishes cooked each evening in addition to the a la carte menu (I believe only during the season)

Excellent accueil avec collation et boisson de bienvenue, ensemble du personnel très agréable, suite avec vue sur mer et espace piscine sympa et propre. Diner pris au restaurant de l’hôtel très bon et copieux pour un prix correct. Places de parking en nombre restreint. Un peu loin de la mer, il faut prendre la voiture.

Over booked hotel.

Check In: AWFUL we weren't put in correct room. We were supposed to be in a suite. And the hotel blamed Expedia for overbooking and we were put in a room that had a double bed and they had to put in an extra bed. The hotel changed us to the room we were supposed to have on the fourth night. staff: the staff were very welcoming with a complimentary drink on arrival. They were friendly throughout even though there were discrepancies about the room. Food: lovely but overpriced. It was 20 euros cheaper on the beach front Room: the suite room that we were put in was light and had 2 large rooms. Beautiful balcony. Fresh towels every day. Free air con. The only bad think about the room is that the water went every where in the shower and was dangerously slippy. I would reccommend if you book this hotel call the hotel to confirm your booking. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience we had with the overbooked rooms. However if this did not happen I would have recommended. The hotel does not look as pristine as it does on the images on the Expedia website. We loved agia pelagia itself, such a lovely small village. Beautiful beach with turquoise waters. Excellent tavernas lining beach.
