Good location, overall pleasant hotel (relatively), as expected from 3star hotel in Male. The breakfast was next to nothing, just 2 fried eggs and coffe with spme bread.

Hotel mentality is to lure people in need
They accepted online booking but denied stay coz they were getting clients at higher price n theydint wanted to entertain clients with online Booking coz of low rate booking.. they literally said cancel online and do from us at three times the price .

Two nights in Malé
Pleasant stay in a pleasant hotel. There isn't much to do on the island of Malé - purpose of my visit was to recover from flight/s & time zone changes prior to going on SCUBA holiday. There is a very good food market just up the road. You can walk around the island in less than 90 minutes. Very safe island, but not much for tourists.

Local averge hotel
The place is in middle of male and there are alot of local places near by within walking dastance. The staff is so friendly which all people of maldives but the facility is old and i was not happy as they did not remind us about the out halfboard that we paid for and the breakfast is limited and the worker are kind.. this place will be for those who want to save.

It locate 3 blocks away from the Harbor Food Court and the Ferry and 10 -15 minutes walk to Male downtown. Manager and staffs are nice. Manager will go out the way to made us happy. I like it. Good breakfast buffet. The room is good size.

All good EXCEPT the wifi
Nice big rooms and decent buffet breakfast. Main problem was the wifi which did not work much of the time. This was very frustrating to say the least and I needed to go out to nearby restaurants just to send messages or plan yours. I hope they fix this soon.

Noisy a.c and fan
Had transit for 11 hours ,the free shuttle is always great help if tou dont want to exchange money. The room however was a disappoint smelled smoke ,very noisy a.c and fan.we thiught we cool the room and turn it off and just use fan ! Nop the fan was equally noisy. We were having breakfast amd still eating and the staff comes with bill saying yiu have to pay for yhird person.seriously let customers finish eating we wount run away!!!!

Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room. While it's a bit away from the main tourist attractions, I had fun walking around the local area, especially since I didn't get hassled to look at shops or go into restaurants, unlike in the area where most of the tourist attractions and hotels are. Close to a good spot to watch sunset and watch the world cup once it's dark! Access to WiFi has a time limit, which is my only complaint as it wasn't clear in the booking information and the system doesn't allow you to log off, so you have to use your allotted time all at once (Of course, this may be me missing something). I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Male.

We stayed here for one night as we landed late and didn't want to spend a full night at our resort. It was good for this purpose, given 24h pickup. It isn't the most luxurious hotel, but it is comfortable enough and the staff are friendly. While it is pricey for what it is, it is standard for Maldives I suppose. If you need an overnight stay before heading to your resort, I would recommend this hotel.

Enjoyable stay
Good accommodation in Malé city, efficient hospitality was offered right from the pick up airport to the hotel. Spaces room, new bathroom and with all amenities. Breakfast was a selection of varieties of cuisines. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Location close to the beach, shops, eatery etc. thank you to the staff who work tirelessly to provide warm services. All in all I truly enjoyed my stay in beehive. Regards

Good transfer hotel
Big, spacious suite. Decor is outdated and could be changed. The food at the hotel restaurant was very good. However, the restaurant that the front desk woman recommended was awful. Communication via email and phone was poor; we had a mixup regarding the airport transfer. The area around the hotel is gross. Trash everywhere, constant construction, and not very walkable. I would not stay here more than one night due to the location. But the hotel itself is fine.

Super helpful and pretty
Lovely little place. Staff could not have been more helpful. They arranged all pickups and transfers and kitchen staff stayed up till past midnight just to serve us. Astonishingly good !

Excellent Hotel in Male, Maldives
Only good things to say about the Beehive, fabulous service from beginning to end of stay. The rooms are comfortable, but the staff at the hotel are really exceptional. We would definetly stay at the Beehive again. Very close to the Villingili ferry terminal and just a short taxi ride from the Male Airport Ferry terminal. Many local attractions and great shopping just walking distance from the Beehive. Thanks Beehive staff for a great stay

Old hotel that needs a face lift, in the wrong part of town. Not many local restaurants or sights to see. Avoid this hotel if you have other choices.

The room is typical for a 3* hotel and good for the price considering the Maldives resorts are ultra expensive. The staff were very courteous and helpful which made our stay better.

Nice n clea- good location hotel.
Hotel is good, located close to Villingili island Ferry Terminal. It was nice and clean, studio room. When I entered the room I found bathroom flush was not working, when I informed the reception, they quickly changed the room. There is a nice restaurant on hotel groundfloor, serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast was included in the room rate had good selection of cereal, continental and local food and fruits, tea/coffee. I felt it was slightly overpriced. Girls may the reception were friendly and helpful finding tour packages for me.

It’s so noisy don’t even think about Sleeping
Pictures look good for this hotel and then you get there and say Oh what have I gotten myself into. pretty nice folks at front desk. Tv - no work, shower marginal hot water . About a 1 Star by USA standards

The transport arrangement to and from airport was well arranged. The staff was waiting for our arrival at airport. We took the night flight, owner was kind enough to give us a room for shower and rest when we came back from day tour. Happy with the services except the Wi-Fi connection was poor.

Great experience
I staid twice in the hotel, at the beginning and the end of my trip. The staff is very focused on good service, as they were very worried to confirm my arrival and provide transfer from and to the Hotel. The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean and the food is great. Totally recommendable in Male! The only minor issues are related to some wall paper that is cut and the toilet seat of the room I used.

Great service at a perfect Male stopover hotel.
This hotel is well located, clean and provides a nice breakfast. The airport transfer service provided by the hotel is outstanding. They met us at the Male airport after our seaplane transfer. They arranged and bought the ferry transfer tickets from the airport to the Male island, helped with luggage on and off the ferry and had transportation waiting and took us promptly to the hotel. Since we had a very early departure flight before the breakfast buffet opened, we were provided breakfast delivered to our room. The return transfer to the airport was as good as the arrival transfer and included getting us into the right airport line for our international flight. Outstanding and courteous service.

An overnight stay so did not explore the area. The hotel was clean and tidy and the breakfast was good. But the location and condition of the hotel were only average. We were glad we booked the airport transfer it was very quick and efficient, the hotel staff were cheerful and helpful. We would stay again for a transfer but not a holiday.

The hotel was surprisingly good and comfortable Approaching it the small alley way type roads had me thinking about it, but it surpassed ally expectations. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, though we stayed only for one night.

It is a comfortable hotel and the staff very pleasant but the area around the hotel was pretty gtrott. That said I didn’t see any better areas in Male in my drive from the ferry jetty.

while the staff are very friendly and helpful, it's not worth the cost relative to similar prices in the West. hotel hallways are not air conditioned and sdo incredibly humid. can't phone reception from room. TV didn't work. no instructions or info in room.

The Beehive was a great find. The staff were super friendly and accommodating to and from the hotel. Modern rooms and a very nice restaurant for dinner and a bountiful breakfast. Highly recommend The Beehive.

One night stay in Male
My husband and I had a ons night stop in Male for our honeymoon. We had had a long day of travel. The staff at the beehive were very welcoming and quickly checked us in even though it was before the check in time listed. The room was large clean and comfy! The food on the restaurant was delicious and very affordable. We slept great and had a smooth Check out the next day. Though Male is a busy city the beehive was a quiet retreat and perfect place to rest and recharge after a long flight.

The place is very welcoming. Feels like your at home The room is well kept, big bed & comfortable to sleep. Interior design with a taste! I couldn't find any faults with anything. Staff are friendly from reception, restaurant to housekeeping. Everyone is so warm and helpful giving us direction and arranging airport transfers. Giving us worry free & smooth stay. Impressive service, Great leadership in there. kudos! to the manager julius. His presence adds appeal, truly an asset of the property.He helps you organise your trips with the utmost ease.Really found a good friend in Maldives.:) Great food! Breakfast is so generous, Hotel is well located and accessible to nearby ferry and artificial beach We enjoyed our stay Highly recommended, definitely will come back.
