"The hotel is not nearly as beautiful as it is in the pictures. I am sure it was amazing 5 years ago but it has fallen into a bad state of disrepair. A colony of bats made a home inside and leave their droppings all over the hallway and in room #4 if you are lucky to get that one. Room #1 smelled of raw sewage. However, the wifi is blazing fast and works all over the property and beach. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. I just wish the owners would invest a little in repairs and clean out...

Auf unserer Terrasse konnten wir sogar Affen beobachten und nachts Buschbabys sehen – ein wirklich einzigartiges Erlebnis! Der Besitzer und die Mitarbeiter sind super nett, herzlich und hilfsbereit. "Beautiful resort. Interior, resort grounds and the rooms were impeccable but what made this resort exceptional for us were the staff. Everyone was just so attentive, friendly and helpful. A special mention to Halidi at the kid’s pool, such an amazing young man. Him and Jafari were just brilliant with our little boy. Elizabeth at the beach bar. What a wonderful person. Honestly, some of the nicest people we’ve met. The resort itself is located in quite a secluded area and a distance away from a lot of the excursions, this wasn’t an issue for us but worth noting."

"We .loved the hotel. Everyone was so welcoming……. We are an older couple and were treated with the utmost respect. The room is lovely so spacious and had a wrap around balcony. The bed was very comfortable and we could even sleep with all the doors open. We ate at the restaurant for two nights out of three and the meals were lovely. Staff was so helpful every single one of them. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Also the location was 10 out of 10. You could walk wherever you like."

"Treetop by Eight Continents Zanzibar exceeded all our expectations. It is an excellent choice for solo travellers, couples and families, and in my opinion, this resort is seriously underrated. From the moment we stepped onto the hotel premises, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was friendly, kind and attentive throughout our stay. A special thank you to Ally, who helped my wife organise a beautiful surprise dinner for us by the beach. It was an unforgettable experience and showed just how far the staff are willing to go to make their guests feel special. The entire hotel was extremely clean and well maintained, and the food was absolutely amazing. The resort is also very family-friendly, with a dedicated kids’ zone to keep children entertained while parents relax and enjoy their holiday. The prices were surprisingly affordable for the quality of the accommodation, service and overall experience. The photographs online do not do this place justice at all. Seeing the hotel in person was mind-blowing—it was even more beautiful and impressive than the pictures suggested. Treetop by Eight Continents Zanzibar truly deserves a five-star rating. We had an incredible stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar."
