"The staff and facilities here are wonderful. If youโ€™re looking for a budget friendly safari, this is it. However, be prepared, there is no WiFi and the meals are limited. Other things like soda, beer, etc, cost extra. It takes some time for the hot water to come in, so start your shower about 10-15 minutes before you actually take one. You also need to book a Safari driver outside of this tented camp, which we had."

"Mara Hilltop was the highlight of our trip! Amazing location and the Luxury rooms are incredible. Very attentive staff as well - shout out to Steve and Lucy! What surprised me is, even though you're outside the park - it's pretty much the same as being inside the park. The animals are all around, and you get the benefit of walking in the nature with the Maasai guides, etc Highly recommend it!"
