This was a really maginificent place to stay in the heart of Morpeth. It's in a fabulous historic building. The rooms are big, the bed is comfy and there's a great guest lounge. A lovely continental breakfast is included. The owner is wonderful and very helpful.
This definitely THE place to stay in Morpeth.
We enjoyed our stay, even though it was for one night.
Our room was very comfortable and clean.
A convenient place to stay, close to shops and restaurants.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
Thank you.
Beautiful hotel, quaint and different, gorgeous large well maintained rooms, huge comfy kingsize bed, lovely ensuite bathroom, delicious well catered continental breakfast, very convenient to where we needed to be
The Bronte loft unit was a great solution for our small family group. The location amazing and finding the main house lounge area and chocolates an added bonus !
The Brontë is absolute fantastic and full of character. Great hospitality couldn’t fault it. Lovely, clean, welcoming place which does all the small things so well.
I loved this property, it was a proper guest house, super comfortable, pristine and just beautiful. The gluten free options for a celiac were awesome, including a gluten free toaster. I would highly recommend the Brontë and when we’re back in the area it’s at the top of our list
We stayed one night for a wedding in Patterson. It was my first time in Morpeth. I absolutely loved the facilities.
The administrator was very kind bringing extra blanquets because my sister feels the cold.
The dinning area is very nicely decorated and relaxed area. We will come back.
The attention to detail is outstanding. Cindy is an exceptional host. The hotel decor is beautiful - indicative of the era of the building. The amenities include common areas to enjoy where you can make yourself a coffee or tea and relax.
We highly recommend this accommodation and hope to return for another wonderful stay.

Great spot, and the rooms are both spacious and clean. We also never had any issue at parking at the property.
We do recommending skipping the free light breakfast and going across the road if you want to have something more than couple Woolies square toasts and 1-portion cereals.
The Bronte was the perfect luxury overnight stay in the fabulous quaint Village of Morpeth.
The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and well appointed. The historic building is perfectly located in the centre of town walkable to everything.
The bathroom was totally luxurious and the bed was super comfy.
Breakfast on the verandah was great with many standard included options and friendly helpful service.
We really enjoyed our stay.
Very welcoming, boutique vintage terrace. Relaxed breakfast area with yummy food. We arrived very late, so parking for us was very limited. Internal stairs didn’t worry us, but could others.
Lovely old home with very well considered extras including big bath tub (stayed in Room 6). Whilst Expedia was not particularly helpful with a date change, lovely Cindy was fantastic. Shared lounge facilities included a guest fridge but not one in the room. Great continental breakfast included and lovely deck area to sit and enjoy breakfast. Parking bays were tight.

Disliked: Staff & service
As someone who has stayed at the Bronte many times over many years, one of the best features was the cooked breakfast. No longer available. Now you are offered a faceless, plastic wrapped self-service less friendly or acceptable than that served at the cheapest motels.
No one to book you in, and no one to book you out. The whole experience was lacking in any personality or personal interaction.
No longer a high class boutique hotel.
And the costs related to service are outrageous. Top level prices for an impersonal and unfriendly experience.
I hope the previous management, who understood how to run a hotel, will wait for this lot to fail, and reestablish the Bronte as it used to be.
