"This was my first trip to Maine for a quick 38 hour trip for a friend's baby shower from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. Communication was easy as I was able to text the person at the front desk letting them know my ETA. "Clean, beautiful room with a vintage feel. Great staff, very attentive. If you have a show to go to they offer a car service to take you there. It’s a 5 minute walk to the theater though so that was nice. Tandem bakery is right next door. You have to get coffee and pastries. Make sure to get a loaded biscuit. "

One day out of four they strangely neglected to clean the room, even with a door sign requesting service, but the night front desk person took it upon herself to do so when we noted the problem after returning around dinner time. "The shuttle driver and the service they offered was great. They took us to dinner on the waterfront,then picked us up and took us to the State theater. They also picked us up after the show. The staff and breakfast buffet was awesome I'm just beware,they have cutback and breakfast was no longer free.that said it was delicious and well worth the price"
