Although the surrounding area (3 km west of Galle Fort) is unassuming, the hotel itself is in a beautiful colonial style with every detail and unique decoration carefully thought through. Det ligger i gåafstand til Galle Fort, hvor der er altid er meget trafik og mange mennesker. Det er dog ikke noget man mærker til på hotellet, som ligger tilbagetrukket på bakken. "Out of the center of Galle, but was nice and quiet."

"So nice stay. Everybody has to try to eat dinner there. The shef was excellent and the manager was so gentle. He played nice music for us every night and we where the only guests. We had dinner there all three nights!!!!! "
