What a disappointment. Despite having a nice location on a promontory, along with a nice little beach, this hotel underwhelms. The hotel looks like it may have been very nice at one time, but a lack of continued investment and upkeep makes it appear unkempt. Landscaping is unkempt (especially when compared to the Hilton a few doors down. The pool is in fair to poor condition, and heavily chlorinated. Our room was less than stellar - the AC failed to cool well, the windows to the ocean were dirty, and there was what appeared to be a general lack of caring as to the condition of the room. The staff was friendly enough, though. Overall, I wish I would have spent my money elsewhere, as the experience we had was far different than the amount of money spent.

Fin beliggenhet, dårlig service, dra et annet sted

Hotellet har en nydelig beliggenhet på svabergene med en strand ved siden av hotellet. Fantastisk utsikt mot havet og Silouette Island. Rommene var rene og fine. Nye håndklær hver dag. Safen på vårt rom funket ikke og ble aldri fikset heller, selv om vi ble lovt det. Frokosten er veldig god, godt utvalg. Lunsj er også ganske bra. Middagen, not so much, dårlig utvalg og lite rullering på menyen som gjør at det er vanskelig å oppleve nye retter ila. et en-ukes opphold. Vi var veganere, og det gjorde det ekstra vanskelig. Vi ble fort lei maten. Kokkene var dog fantastiske servicemennesker som elsker å servere folk god mat, det er personalet ellers som er problemet. Det bringer meg til mitt neste punkt: Servicen er tragisk! Godt førsteinntrykk med velkomstdrink, men der stoppet det. Ingen smil og "good morning" i resepsjonen. Hvis vi spurte om noe så det ut som de ikke forstod eller fikk vondt. i restauranten fjerner de gjerne tallerken din før du er ferdig hvis du ikke passer på, vi følte oss jagd ut. Oppholdet ble avsluttet med at vi fikk regningen før vi i det hele tatt fikk desserten vi hadde bestilt. Konklusjon: Invester heller noen ekstra lapper i et annet hotell!

Vue exceptionnelle

Le Sunset est en cours de restauration mais malgré ça l’emplacement est exceptionnel. Notre chambre était impeccable avec accès direct sur la plage, vue d’exception, bercé par les vagues elles étaient devant nous, à une dizaine de mètres de notre chambre !!!

We enjoyed our stay , the hotel is in an amazing location but sadly in desperate need of maintenance and a significant refurbishment. The staff are lovely particularly Lucy in the restaurant and they are working hard to make everybody happy but the condition of the hotel is not up to standard although we had a very nice room which was very comfortable there was lots of hot water and for a beach holiday it was perfectly adequate.Food was repetitive but a 7 out of 10

Nice place to start a longer vacation

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice location with fine beach. Food was ok, but the menu repeated after a few days. Five days was a good length of stay. Dogs was barking every night, was hard getting a sleep.

Nice pics on the web but in reality, the resort is fallin apart. Even though the beach is very nice, the resort is not so don’t go there!

The property is beautiful but it is a bit run in the maintenance department. For example, missing down spouts, old paint, moldy cushions, rotting wood. Empty bottles and there consumables by hotel residents were not picked up for a couple of days. Service was top notch!

Das Hotel ist abgewohnt und deutlich renovierungsbedürftig. Das FRühstücksbüffet findet beim Personal reichlich Zuspruch, wird dann leider nicht mehr ohne Aufforderung aufgefüllt. Die Vögel finden auch ihr Frühstück am Büffelt ohne dass das Person sich stört. Der Strand ist ein toller Schnorchelplatz und sauber. Zum Abendessen außer Haus ist ein Auto von Vorteil, die Busse fahren bis 20.30 (Taxi ist teuer). Essen im Hotel können wir nicht empfehlen.

Absolute paradise! Dream beach. Love this hotel!

Absolutely the best hotel in Seychelles, best Beach for swimming and snorkling any time of day, good temperature in the water too. We enjoyed a bungalow room at the beach. Ah the sunsets we had! Amazing service too. The owner was so kind and showed us good places to go to visit. Stay here at least 2 nights! Longer too if you like. If wetravel to the Seychelles again this hotel is where we'll stay on Mahe! Dreamlike. Thank you!

Great hotel, owners time and money needed

Overall the hotel is great. The staff are mainly friendly and helpful and room service on point. Sunsets are divine. Watch outs - the waves and current can get big at high tide. The menu doesn't include service and tax slapping you with an extra 25% on top of any bill. If the owner spent time and money on the hotel and saying hi to guests rather than rocking up in her Bentley and terrifying the staff the atmosphere would be a lot nicer.

Es ist eine sehr schön Unterkunft leider unterkommen meine Zimmer wahr mit See Blick erwünscht leider nicht erfüllt wie in der Beschreibung mit wifi in allen Zimmer verfügbar auch das nicht nur im Restaurant und Lobby und 2 Tage wahr auch eine Störung also kein Internet für die Geste schlecht !!! Das Restaurant das Dach war mit Folie abgedeckt die Toiletten ins Zimmer war auch nicht das saubersten das Papier Halter voll mit Staub und das Behälter der Toiletten Bürste könnte auch mal gewechselt werden das Bett hat eine schöne Holz gestell oben könnte auch mal abgestaubt werden kein Lattenrost dafür doppelt Matratzen 😟das Hotel ist sehr Renovierung Bedürfnis für das Geld am Tag habe mir etwas besseres vorgestellt 😟

Das Hotel is super gelegen Tolle Bucht , ruhig , keine Boom Boom Musik in der Nähe ,leider heruntergekommen ,Preis Leistung überrissen ! wäre wunderschön , Zimmer 10 Schritte vom Meer gelegen , das Essen ist ok , Bedienung geht so , Die Zimmer sind renovier Bedürftig, auch die Matratzen , für 1-2Nächte ok , Beau Vallon Strand ist nicht zu Fuss zu erreichen

The beach is stunning and the restaurant is great. The staff, specially Theo was really helpful and nice. It's a fantastic hotel for the price. There is hardly no Wifi but that's not a bad thing, so many things to see, it was fabulous!
