"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Fenua Maita'i'oa! The room was beautiful, very clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. We especially appreciated having Netflix and Amazon Prime available for relaxing in the evenings. The location was also very convenient...close to a grocery store and easy to get around. The kitchenette setup was perfect with an egg maker, kettle for hot water, fridge, microwave, dishes, and silverware. The cat on the property was absolutely wonderful and...

"I really wanted to give this place high reviews, but unfortunately the great pluses this property has (amazing location right on the water and views) are negated by an overzelous and controling owner. Prepared to be scolded, warned and admonished for many things a paying costumer would not in other stablishments. I.e. do not take the kayak out in the beautiful bay because it could be damaged by the coral..are u serious? Why have a kayak on the property if it cant be used. Or, dont leave the AC...

"We were on a cruise which ended in Papeete. We decided to spend an additional 2 nights in the area and chose Moorea due to proximity by ferry. I researched hotels and chose Hibiscus due to the excellent ratings and price. The hotel exceeded my expectations. You just sit back and enjoy the views Free use of kayaks and you’re right next to the area of the lagoon where the best snorkelling for the moorea island is.
