Very nice property good service clean rooms but a bit noisy. Beautiful but an old building so some noise is to be expected.

Riverhouse

Always love staying here and heading next door for dinner at Sawadee. Looking forward to our next visit. Staff are very friendly and helpful too. View is amazing.

We stayed one night on our way through the loop. Its cozy, the room was big, the building had character. There's a huge patio along the river which has noce views. The bed was cozy and the breakfast was delicious. I suggest the rice soup for breakfast!

Beautiful location very convenient for the National Park. Lovely lakeside setting. We were not given the room we had booked but due to the language barrier we didn’t chose to overlook this. The property was in need of some refurbishment but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in a triple room as this was only one available despite there being just 2 of us. This was ok and had great balcony over review but we came back and stayed in double room which was much nicer with lovely much bigger balcony. It's a very historic teak hotel which means it creaks a lot but is a very charasmatic hotel and great to stay in. Breakfast is good for a small hotel.

We loved the beautiful wood building, the open breezy lobby and the riverside terrace. The wood room was lovely too. We would have liked to have comfortable chairs in the room balcony to spend some time reading, but other than that everything was perfect, plus they provided parking just across the street. Staff were all very accommodating.

Eine Nacht während der Fahrt auf dem Mae Hong Son

Aufenthalt während der Fahrt auf dem Mae Hong Song Loop. Wir sind spät angekommen und früh wieder los. Alles war sauber und freundlich. Das offene Teak Haus hat eine besondere Atmosphäre, es ist natürlich etwas hellhörig aber nachts ist es ruhig. Würde wieder dort übernachten!

Sehr schönes Haus - aber bedingt durch traditionelle Holzbauweise sehr hellhörig. Aber ein schönes Erlebnis mit Blick auf den Fluss.

Rooms clean and nice. Parking area a little small, and too close to the road, but okay overall. The breakfast service staff were very kind and professional. The process of selecting an entree for breakfast the night before was a little confusion--perhaps just wait until the morning at breakfast to ask guests for preference, to make the process simpler.

Friendly staff and beautifully appointed traditional teakwood building, but hotel is right on the street, so difficult to park car for loading and unloading. Mattress was very hard and we had a poor sleep.

Good for a overnight stay

Nice spacious room with a big balcony. Unfortunately there was only one chair at the balcony and it seemed like you wasn’t expected to use the balcony. That’s really a shame. Put two relaxing chairs and a table on the balcony and you’ll have the best spot to relax.

Dit hotel oogt prachtig maar heeft ook wat verbete

Het teakhouten heeft op de vloer en wanden allemaal glimmend teakhout. Doet erg gezellig aan. Je mag niet met schoenen aan het hotel binnen dus iedereen loopt op blote voeten of met sokken aan. De veranda om te eten en te drinken is op verschillende plaatsen kapot en de spijkers steken uit de planken. Lekker met je blote voeten! Het hotel is echt super gehorig, ik kon pas laat gaan slapen door de buren die naar mijn idee normaal praatten. Het bed lag heerlijk. Ontbijtje was simpel.

Lovely hotel

TIP: Hotels.com uses Expedia to book with this hotel. They did not recognize our hotel.com boI king when we showed up. It took a phone call to hotels.com customer service and some emails from them to the staff to get it straightened out Beautiful views of the countryside, right by the river, lovely wooder construction and eating area. The free breakfast is great...especially if you like eggs. The wood floors can be slippery and if you are on the top floor the stairs are steep.

Frokostmenyen valgt ved ankomst var enkel men svært god. Jeg spiste middag på hotellet og nøt stillheten uten musikk. Hørte elven nedenfor hotellet. Det var i overkant lytt mellom rommene i tredje etasje. Likevel trumfet den spesielle atmosfæren i teakhuset. Anbefales.

Great hotel but also horrible

The Teak hotel is great but the owner must be more responsible.At lunchtime I entered terrace made of wood.Part of the structure was rotten/ bad shape and all of a sudden the floor gave in and I was on the way to the ground 5 meters below.I could have been killed but managed to hang on.I I was not badly wounded but this is serious. I called the american owner, he was " shocked" of what happened and decided to immediately close the terrace for all quests..He apologized and gave me free overnight stay.Very professional and so was manager in the reception.She cared so much for me.My love to her! This incident should never have happened.There is no excuse for an owner of a hotel who is reponsible to put guests life at risk.In my homecountry Norway the authorities would have closed the hotel immediately.I think Hotels.com should contact the Teak hotel and have a confirmation that the terrace is repaired before they allow the The hotel to use their booking plattform. A shocking experience!

Stilvolles Haus am Fluss

Nach einem unfreundlichen Empfang ging es über knarrende Dielen (ohne Schuhe) in ein schmuckloses Zimmer an der lauten Durchgangsstraße. Sonst war die Lage am Fluss aber ganz gut, die Hotelterrasse ebenfalls und auch das Frühstück mit Eiern nach Wunsch. Dinner im Resort nebenan super!
